Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a frequent type of cancer, which is mainly characterized clinically by high aggressiveness and high mortality. KRAS oncoprotein is the most common molecular protein detected in NSCLC, accounting for 25% of all oncogenic mutations. Constitutive activation of the KRAS oncoprotein triggers an intracellular cascade in cancer cells, leading to uncontrolled cell proliferation of cancer cells and aberrant cell survival states.

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is the leading cause of bronchiolitis in young children, but there are few safe and effective treatments for this disease. Platycodonis Radix is widely used as an antitussive and expectorant drug for preventing various diseases in lower respiratory tract, in which the polysaccharides are one of the main bioactivity constituents. In this study, the protective effects of the P.

However, the conventional methods for the acquisition of the Ki-67 PI, such as surgery and biopsy, are generally invasive. This study investigated a potential noninvasive method of predicting the Ki-67 PI in patients with lung adenocarcinoma presenting with subsolid nodules.

Objective: This research aimed to probe into the effect of miR-145-5p in psoriasis by regulating Wnt/β-catenin.
Methods: A total of 45 psoriasis patients treated in our hospital were enrolled into an observation group (OG), and other 40 healthy individuals in physical examination over the same period were enrolled into a control group (CG). miR-145-5p in both groups was quantified, and its value in diagnosis and recurrence prediction of psoriasis was analyzed.

Background: Bone is the most common metastatic site for breast cancer, and patients' condition will deteriorate when it occurs.
Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis on 6482 breast cancer patients with bone metastases (BCBM), who were selected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Result (SEER) 18 registry database. The optimal age cut-points were generated by using the X-tile software.

Surgical treatment is the main treatment for hemophilia arthritis, including synoviectomy, joint replacement and joint fusion. Synoviectomy is suitable for early hemophilia synovitis, and is divided into radiation, chemical, arthroscopy, and open operation. Radionuclides were recommended as the first choice due to its positive efficacy and less side effects, but exsit some problems such as scarcity of nuclides.

Objective: To observe the antibacterial effect of Ag-loaded TiO (Ag-TiO) and Ag-TiO coated endotracheal tube (ETT) on the bacterial biofilm (BF) of Staphylococcus aureus.
Methods: 2, 3-bis-(2-methoxy-4-nitro-5-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium-5-carboxanilide (XTT) colorimetric method was used to detect minimal inhibitory concertation (MIC) of Ag-TiO for inhibition of BF of Staphylococcus aureus. The Ag-TiO coated ETT were prepared, and divided into 11 mg/L, 8 mg/L, 5 mg/L, 2 mg/L and 0 mg/L ETT group, according to the concentration gradient, then impregnated in the liquid with Staphylococcus aureus at a concentration of 1.

Background: Bone marrow of patients with aplastic anemia (AA) is different from that of patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and is difficult to identify by blood examination. IDEAL-IQ (iterative decomposition of water and fat with echo asymmetry and least-squares estimation) imaging might be able to quantify fat fraction (FF) and iron content in bone tissues.
Purpose: To determine if IDEAL-IQ measurements of bone marrow FF and iron content can distinguish between patients with AA and MDS.

Objectives: To evaluate the ability of CT radiomic features extracted from peritumoral parenchyma of 2 mm and 5 mm distinguishing invasive adenocarcinoma (IAC) from adenocarcinoma in situ (AIS)/minimally invasive adenocarcinoma (MIA).
Methods: For this retrospective study, 121 lung adenocarcinomas appearing as ground-glass nodules on thin-section CT were evaluated. Quantitative radiomic features were extracted from the peritumoral parenchymal region of 2 mm and 5 mm on CT imaging, and the radiomic models of External2 and External5 were constructed.

Background: Angiopoietin-like proteins (ANGPTLs) are closely related to insulin resistance and lipid metabolism, and may be a key in metabolic syndrome. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) (newly named metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD)) is based on metabolic dysfunction. There may be some correlation between ANGPTLs and MAFLD, but the specific correlation is unclear.

: Cancer patients are more vulnerable to Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) and have a higher risk of adverse outcomes than the general population. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate whether anti-cancer therapies such as surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy will increase the severity and mortality of cancer patients with COVID-19.: Relevant articles were retrieved from PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI).

In T1 gastric cancer (GC), lymph nodes metastasis (LNM) is considered as a significant prognostic predictor and closely associated with following therapeutic approaches as well as distant metastasis (DM). This study aimed to not only seek risk factors of LNM and DM but also unpack the prognosis in T1 GC patients. We performed a retrospective study enrolling 5547 patients in T1 GC from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database.

Background: Cancer, with sustained high mortality, is a worldwide threat to public health. Despite the survival benefit over conventional therapies shown in immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI), only a minority of patients benefit from single ICI. But combination therapy holds the promise of achieving better efficacy over monotherapy.

The increased resistance and toxicity have become the main causes of chemotherapy failure for treating lung cancer. The combination of chemotherapeutic drugs with other agents has been recognized as a promising strategy to overcome these difficulties. Isovitexin (IVT) is a well-known flavone C-glycoside found in many plants and has attracted wide attention due to its obvious antitumor and antioxidant effects.
