Background: With the continuous progress and in-depth implementation of the reform of the medical and health care system, alongside the gradual enhancement of the standardized training framework for residents, such training has become a crucial avenue for cultivating high-level clinicians and improving medical quality. However, due to various constraints and limitations in their own capabilities, residents undergoing standardized training are often susceptible to job burnout during this process. Numerous factors contribute to job burnout, which is closely associated with depression and anxiety.

Urachal carcinoma is a rare bladder malignance. This study presents a case of an elderly patient with urachal carcinoma who was found to have pulmonary metastases 1 year after 5 recurrent resections. The patient was treated with up to 7 different chemotherapy regimens, including a VEGF monoclonal antibody and anti-PD-1 antibody.

Angiopoietin like 4 (ANGPTL4) has been proved to play an important role in lipid and glucose metabolism disorders and related cardiovascular diseases, but its role in the formation of cirrhosis still needs to be further explored. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the role of ANGPTL4 in the development of liver cirrhosis and its mechanism, as well as its effect on Kupffer cell polarization and hepatic stellate cell activation. The ELISA and RT-qPCR assay were used to detect the content of ANGPTL4 in serum and mRNA expression in cells and tissues respectively.

The poor prognosis of gastric adenocarcinoma is partly due to chemotherapy failure, especially the oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy. However, the specific mechanism of oxaliplatin resistance is unclear. We aim to find the roles that LINC00641 and miR-582-5p play in regulating oxaliplatin resistance.
