- A total of 68 patients were randomly assigned to two groups: one received IFN-alpha with THP, while the other got THP alone, with follow-ups conducted every three months for up to two years.
- Results showed a lower recurrence rate (12.1%) in the IFN-alpha plus THP group compared to the THP group (22.8%), indicating that this combination is more effective in preventing bladder cancer recurrence.
