Patients And Methods: This study prospectively enrolled patients diagnosed with AHF combined with CKD at the Department of Cardiology of Hunan Provincial People's Hospital from March 2019 to December 2022.

[Evaluation of the feasibility of endoscopic tympanoplasty in two-person three-hand operation].

To study the difference of postoperative efficacy between two-person three-hand ear endoscopy and microscopic tympanoplasty in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media, and to explore the advantages and disadvantages of two-person three-hand ear endoscopy. A retrospective study was conducted on 100 patients who underwent tympanoplasty in the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery of Hunan People's Hospital from April 2019 to March 2023, and they were divided into 2 groups with 50 cases each according to random number table method. Among them, 50 cases underwent endoscopic tympanoplasty in two-person three-hand（group A） and 50 cases underwent routine microscopic tympanoplasty（group B）.

In this study, we identified an 8-year-old patient with congenital anomalies of bronchial origin that caused his clinical manifestations of cough and shortness of breath. This diagnosis needs to be taken into possible consideration when similar clinical manifestations occur in a pediatric patient without a cause.

Background: In view of the lack of attention and predictability in postpartum breastfeeding in primiparas, health education on breastfeeding during pregnancy should be carried out to publicize the benefits of breastfeeding.

Objective: To investigate how well the primiparas during pregnancy are known of breastfeeding knowledge, and to provide a basis for developing health education measures for them.

Objective: To explore the role of the PPARα/HOXA10 signaling pathway in mediating the effect of adiponectin (APN) for improving endometrial receptivity in a rat model of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Methods: Forty female SD rat models with letrozole-induced PCOS were randomized, with 10 normal rats as the control, into 4 equal groups for treatment with APN alone, APN combined with GW6471 (a specific PPARα inhibitor) or the vehicle for 20 days, or no further treatment (PCOS model group). GW6471 treatment (daily dose of 1 mg/kg) and vehicle treatment were initiated on the 11th day following the start of APN treatment, all administered via intraperitoneal injection.

Background: Protein cysteine oxidation is substantially involved in various biological and pathogenic processes, but its implications in pancreatic cancer development remains poorly understood.

Methods And Results: In this study, we performed a global characterization of protein oxidation targets in PDAC cells through iodoTMT-based quantitative proteomics, which identified over 4300 oxidized cysteine sites in more than 2100 proteins in HPDE6c7 and PANC-1 cells. Among them, 1715 cysteine residues were shown to be differentially oxidized between HPDE6c7 and PANC-1 cells.

Mutational profile evaluates metastatic capacity of Chinese colorectal cancer patients, revealed by whole-exome sequencing.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer and the prevalence rate of CRC is increasing in the China. In this study, whole-exome sequencing (WES) was performed on primary tissues of 47 CRC Chinese patients including 22 metastatic and 25 non-metastatic patients. By comparison with data from western colorectal cancer patients in the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), we identified a number of genes that are more likely to be mutated in Chinese colorectal cancer patients, such as MUC12, MUC12, MUC2, MUC4, HYDIN and KMT2C.
