Purpose: Previous research has documented cognitive deficits in survivors of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC).Our longitudinal study with large sample size, aims to assess the impact of menopausal status on cognitive function, elucidate related factors of cognitive impairment, and chart the trajectory of cognitive changes over time in female PTC patients.

Methods: In this longitudinal study, we administered the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) to 322 female PTC patients over 40 years old, before surgery and at 3 and 6 months after surgery.

Objectives: This study aimed to explore the preferences and influencing factors of self-management behaviors in patients with recurrent gout and provide a theoretical basis for developing targeted strategies to improve self-management preferences.

Methods: A total of 10 patients with recurrent gout were recruited from the gout specialist outpatient clinic at a tertiary hospital in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with these patients, and the Kawakita Jiro (KJ) method was used to analyze the interview data.

Here, we use transcriptome data of TCGA to construct a model for TMB prediction in gastrointestinal tumors.

Methods: Transcriptome data, somatic mutation data and clinical data of four gastrointestinal tumors from TCGA, including esophageal cancer (ESCA), stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD) and rectal adenocarcinoma (READ).

To compare the efficacy and safety of gecacitinib (also known as jaktinib) with hydroxyurea (HU) in treating myelofibrosis (MF) patients. In this multicenter, randomized phase 3 trial (ZGJAK016), intermediate- or high-risk primarily JAK inhibitor naïve MF patients were assigned in a 2:1 ratio to receive either gecacitinib (100 mg twice a day, BID) or HU (500 mg BID). The primary endpoint was the proportion of patients with ≥35% reduction in spleen volume (SVR35) from baseline at week 24.

In the PALOMA-4 trial, adding palbociclib to letrozole prolonged median progression-free survival in Asian women with ER+/HER2- ABC. Here, we report patient-reported outcomes (PROs) from PALOMA-4.

Background: Skin cancer is a common skin disease whose incidence and mortality rates have been showing yearly increases. In this report, we update the most recent data on skin cancer as obtained from GLOBOCAN 2022.

Methods: The incidence and mortality rates of skin cancer (melanoma of skin and non-melanoma skin cancer) in GLOBOCAN 2022 were reviewed.

Progressive osseous heteroplasia in a five-month-old boy with a mutation in exon 9 of : a case report.

Progressive osseous heteroplasia (POH) is an ultrarare hereditary disease that begins with cutaneous ossification, and progressive heterotopic ossification involves subcutaneous and deep connective tissues. We reported a case of POH in a five-month-old boy with clinical, pathological, and genetic features of POH. Most POH cases are caused by GNAS inactivating mutations, and the mutation of GNAS is also found in some other related heterotopic ossification conditions.

Case report: A case of giant malignant solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura with Doege-Potter's syndrome and review of the literature.

The solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura (SFTP) is a rare intrathoracic neoplasm that commonly originates from the subpleural mesenchymal cells of the visceral pleura and accounts for less than 5% of all pleural tumors. We reported a case of a 54-year-old man with a two-week history of hypoglycemia, a six-month history of productive cough and fatigue, and chronic right chest pain. Radiological techniques revealed a giant intra-thoracic mass with hypervascularization, and pathological staining was carried out to make a definitive diagnosis of SFTP.

Decellularized adipose matrix hydrogel-based in situ delivery of antagomiR-150-5p for rat abdominal aortic aneurysm therapy.

Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a progressive aortic disease featured by inflammation, vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) depletion, and elastin degradation. MicroRNAs were related to AAA formation, which bring the approach for precise and targeted drug therapy for AAA. We developed a new strategy based on decellularized adipose matrix (DAM) hydrogel immobilized on the adventitia to release antagomiR-150-5p for preventing the AAA development.

A novel anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody IAH0968 in HER2-positive heavily pretreated solid tumors: results from a phase Ia/Ib first-in-human, open-label, single center study.

Background: IAH0968 is an afucosylated anti-epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) monoclonal antibody which improved the activity of antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and superior anti-tumor efficacy.

Methods: To determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) with dose-limiting toxicity (DLT), a single institution, phase Ia/Ib study was undertaken, using 3 + 3 design. The primary endpoints were safety, tolerability and preliminary clinical activity.
