Background: Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a heterogeneous malignancy. The aim of the study was to investigate the regulatory role of long noncoding RNA LINC00844 in CCA progression, explore the underlying molecular mechanisms, and to analyze the potential prognostic value of LINC00844 in CCA patients.
Methods: Expression of LINC00844 in CCA cell lines and tissues was examined by reverse transcription-quantitative PCR.

Background: Osteosarcoma (OS) is a primary malignant bone tumor with a high rate of metastasis and a short 5-year survival rate. MiR-363 was downregulated in a variety of tumors and played a role in suppressing tumors. However, the roles of miR-363 in osteosarcoma remain unknown; thus, the purpose of this study was to explore the functions of miR-363 in osteosarcoma.

BACKGROUND Intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) has been widely recognized as a major contributor to low back pain. Accumulating evidence suggests that IDD is linked to various pro-inflammatory cytokines and metabolites. Recently, numerous studies have demonstrated that microRNAs (miRNAs) play a pivotal role in the development of most disorders, including degenerative disc diseases.
