Background: Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is a severe chronic lung disease primarily affecting premature infants, often resulting from prolonged mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy. Oxidative stress plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of BPD, contributing to lung injury, inflammation, and impaired lung development. Despite extensive research, there is a need to systematically map out the research trends and hotspots in this field to inform future studies and therapeutic strategies.

Widespread glyphosate contamination in the environment and its endocrine-disrupting potential are concerning. However, evidence of glyphosate's effects on glycemic health is limited. To examine the association between glyphosate and glucose homeostasis in the general US population, a total of 3038 individuals were enrolled from the 2013-2016 cycles of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES).

Ferroptosis is a novel type of cell death that is dependent on lipid peroxidation and iron accumulation, which distinguishes it from other types of programmed cell death. Current research indicates a significant association between ferroptosis and various pathological conditions, including cancer, neurological disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, albeit with a relatively unexplored role in dermatological afflictions. This paper elaborates on the mechanisms and signalling pathways of ferroptosis, summarizing the recent studies on ferroptosis and its related factors in dermatosis.

Mounting data hints that the gut microbiota's role may be pivotal in understanding the emergence of psoriasis. However, discerning a direct causal link is yet elusive. In this exploration, we adopted a Mendelian randomization (MR) strategy to probe the prospective causal interplay between the gut's microbial landscape and the predisposition to psoriasis.
