In this editorial, we review the article "Efficacy and predictive factors of transarterial chemoembolization combined with lenvatinib plus programmed cell death protein-1 inhibition for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma". We specifically focused on whether transarterial chemoembolization combined with lenvatinib in combination with a programmed death 1 inhibitor could be used in patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma. Since both transarterial chemoembolization as well as lenvatinib in combination with programmed death 1 inhibitors play an important role in the treatment of advanced liver cancer, but the combination of all three therapeutic approaches needs more research.

At present, the extension tube of the ventilator, a long corrugated tube used in clinical practice, needs to be disconnected from the endotracheal tube when performing open sputum suction. Under positive pressure, the condensed water containing pathogenic microorganisms in the ventilator will be splashed. Some will form aerosol suspended in the air, pollute the air, increase the risk of cross-infection and operator pollution, while the ventilator will emit a corresponding alarm sound, resulting in noise pollution.

Here we investigated the influence of the risk factors of donors with DGF, and developed a donor risk scoring system for DGF prediction.
Methods: This retrospective study was conducted in 1807 deceased kidney donors and 3599 recipients who received donor kidneys transplants in 29 centers in China.
