Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are known to regulate tumorigenesis. In this study, circRNAs microarray was used to analyze the circRNA expression in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) tissues, and CircRNA zinc finger MYM-type containing 4(circZMYM4) was selected for further analysis. In this study, we detected circZMYM4 expression in LUAD specimens and cell lines using RT-PCR.

Background: Numerous retrospective studies have reported that sublobectomy has a poorer prognosis than lobectomy in patients with early-stage lung cancer. The purpose of this study was to determine whether adjuvant treatment could improve the prognosis of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) ≤3 cm after sublobectomy.
Methods: We collected data from 17,763 patients with T1N0M0 NSCLC after surgery from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database between 2004 and 2015.

Background: Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs), as the activated stroma cells, contribute to tumor progression via the release of cytokines, growth factors, and hormones. However, neither the factors produced by CAFs nor the molecular mechanisms were illuminated very well in gastric cancer (GC).
Methods: Immunohistochemical staining of alpha-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) was applied to examine the number of CAFs in GC samples from 227 patients.

Objective: Long noncoding RNA small nucleolar RNA host gene 1 (SNHG1) has been reported to be aberrantly expressed and plays an important role in human cancers, including esophageal squamous cell cancer. However, the regulatory mechanism underlying SNHG1 in the progression of esophageal squamous cell cancer is poorly defined.
Materials And Methods: Fifty-three esophageal squamous cell cancer patients were recruited and overall survival was analyzed.
