Quality of recovery after anesthesia is an important measure of the early postoperative health status of patients. The Quality of Recovery-15 (QoR-15) questionnaire is a self-rated questionnaire used to assess the quality of postoperative recovery. This study is aimed at translating and validating the Korean version of QoR-15 (QoR-15K).

Purpose: The goal of this study was to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis to compare the clinical and radiologic outcomes of rotator cuff repair, depending on the presence of developed periimplant osteolysis (PIO) after using suture anchors.
Methods: The electronic databases of MEDLINE, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials were searched for articles published up until October 2019 to find relevant articles comparing the outcomes of rotator cuff repair between the periimplant osteolysis group and non-periimplant osteolysis group. Data searching, extraction, analysis, and quality assessment were performed according to the Cochrane Collaboration guidelines.

Purposes: The purpose of this study is to review the use of an allograft or autograft in medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction.
Materials And Methods: Various electronic databases were searched for relevant articles published from January 2000 to September 2017 that evaluated clinical outcomes of MPFL reconstruction using an autograft or allograft. Data search, extraction, analysis, and quality assessments were performed based on Cochrane Collaboration guidelines.

Purpose: The purposes of the present study were to review published studies that investigated arthroscopic meniscus repair to treat meniscus injury in young patients and to compare all-inside and inside-out suture techniques.
Methods: Various electronic databases were queried for published articles, and this search was updated in August 2017 for evaluating the outcomes of arthroscopic meniscus surgery in young patients. Data search, extraction, analysis, and quality assessment were performed according to the Cochrane Collaboration guidelines, and the clinical outcomes were evaluated using various outcome values in young patients according to suture techniques.

Introduction: The efficacy of arthroscopic meniscus surgery in old aged patients remains controversial. The purpose of the present study was to review published studies comparing arthroscopic meniscal surgery with conservative management to treat meniscal injuries in patients 40 years of age and older.
Materials And Methods: Several electronic databases were queried for articles published until July 2017 that evaluated outcomes of arthroscopic meniscal surgery in patients aged 40 years and older.

Background: For aortic-arch repair, moderate hypothermic circulatory arrest (HCA) have shown favorable outcomes over conventional deep HCA when coupled with antegrade cerebral perfusion (ACP); however, recent studies have shown that ACP may not be essential when circulatory arrest time is less than 30 minutes. This study aims to evaluate the stratified arch repair strategy of moderate HCA with or without ACP based on the extent of procedure.
Methods: Consecutive 138 patients (63 female; mean age, 60.

Background: Transtibial (TT) or tibial inlay (TI) techniques are commonly used for posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (PCLR). However, the optimum method for PCLR after PCL injury remains debatable. Hypothesis/Purpose: The hypothesis was that TT and TI techniques would not show significant differences for all outcome measures.

Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Gyeongsang National University Hospital, Gyeongsang National University School of Medicine, Jinju, Korea.
Purpose: This meta-analysis evaluated the benefits of single-bundle (SB) and double-bundle (DB) surgical techniques for posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (PCLR) in terms of clinical outcomes.
Methods: Five electronic databases were searched for relevant articles published until September 2016. Clinical outcomes of both techniques were evaluated using Lysholm knee function scores, Tegner activity scores, side-to-side differences, and International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) objective grades.

Background: Of the many issues regarding surgical techniques for posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction, the choice between single-bundle (SB) and double-bundle (DB) reconstruction is one of the most debated. However, it is unclear which of the reconstruction techniques yields better outcomes in knees with a PCL injury. The purpose of this meta-analysis was to compare the benefits of SB and DB PCL reconstruction in terms of biomechanical outcomes.

Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Intitue of Health Science, Gyeongsang National University School of Medicine, Gyeongsang National University Hospital, 79 Gangnam-ro, Jinju, 52727, Republic of Korea.
Purpose: This is a meta-analysis comparing biomechanical outcomes to determine whether an isolated posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction can restore normal knee kinematics in a combined PCL/posterolateral complex (PLC) injury and whether double-bundle (DB) PCL reconstruction is superior in controlling posterior and rotational laxity compared with single-bundle (SB) PCL reconstruction in a PCL/PLC-deficient knee.
Methods: A number of electronic databases were searched for relevant articles published through August 2016 that compared biomechanical outcomes of PCL reconstruction in patients who underwent reconstruction for combined PCL/PLC deficiencies. Data were searched, extracted, analysed, and assessed for quality according to Cochrane Collaboration guidelines, and biomechanical outcomes were evaluated using various outcome values.

Ablative laser resurfacing is an effective treatment for atrophic acne scars. However, it often induces complications such as edema, prolonged erythema, scarring and hyperpigmentation. Therefore, a new concept of laser treatment called fractional photothermolysis has been designed to create microscopic thermal wounds to achieve skin rejuvenation treatment of atrophic acne scars.
