Comparisons of the analgesic effect of different pulsed radiofrequency targets in SNI-induced neuropathic pain.

The purpose of this study was to develop and compare machine learning models to identify future diagnoses of COPD combined with NSCLC patients based on the patient's disease and routine clinical data.

Methods: Data were obtained from 237 patients with COPD combined with NSCLC as well as NSCLC admitted to Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region People's Hospital from October 2013 to July 2022.

Dose optimisation of linezolid in critically ill patients based on a population pharmacokinetic model: A two-centre prospective interventional study.

Objectives: This study evaluated the intervention effect of clinical pharmacist-mediated optimisation of a linezolid regimen using a population pharmacokinetic (PPK) model.

Methods: Patients treated with linezolid in two medical centres from January 2020 to June 2021 were retrospectively included in the control group; those treated from July 2021 to June 2022 were prospectively enrolled in the intervention group. Clinical pharmacists optimised the dosage regimen according to a published linezolid PPK model in the intervention group.

Purpose: This study aimed to establish a cloud-based radiotherapy consultation and collaboration system, then investigated the practicability of remote decision support for community radiotherapy centers using the system.

Methods And Materials: A cloud-based consultation and collaboration system for radiotherapy, OncoEvidance®, was developed to provide remote services of LINAC modeling, simulation CT data import/export, target volume and organ-at-risk delineation, prescription, and treatment planning. The system was deployed on a hybrid cloud.

A case report of old injury of lateral collateral ligament of knee joint combined with injury of common peroneal nerve.

Since common peroneal nerve is easy be injured because of superficial position of caput fibulae, less surrounding soft tissue and poor mobility, injury of common peroneal nerve is a problem worth discussing in the field of trauma orthopedics. Common peroneal nerve injury often causes foot prolapse, inability in dorsiflexion and eversion, sensory disturbance of anterolateral side of the lower leg and dorsum of foot. In this article, a case of old injury of lateral collateral ligament of knee joint combined with an avulsion fracture of fibular head resulting in injury of common peroneal nerve was reported and repaired by surgery with good effects.

Single-cell sequencing reveals heterogeneity between pancreatic adenosquamous carcinoma and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma with prognostic value.

Pancreatic adenosquamous carcinoma (ASPC) is a rare subtype of pancreatic cancer with lethal malignancy, and few studies have focused on the heterogeneity of ASPC. Here, we performed a single-cell sequencing procedure on pancreatic tumor tissue from an ASPC patient and a patient with high-grade intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN). Through the combined analysis of single-cell sequencing data from five pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) patients, one IPMN patient, and one ASPC patient in a public database, we identified 11 main types of cells, including macrophages, B cells, cancer stem cells, ductal cells, fibroblasts, endo/stellate cells, neutrophils, acinar cells, T cells, natural killer (NK) cells, dendritic cells, and mast cells.

Background: Although radical cystectomy (RC) is the clinical practice guideline-recommended treatment of muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), bladder-sparing trimodality therapy (TMT) has emerged as a valid treatment option. Findings comparing the survival outcomes for MIBC patients who underwent RC and TMT are inconclusive.

Accumulating evidence has shown that blood oxygen level dependent (BOLD) signals in white matter are altered by olfactory disorders and related stimuli, and the signal changes in brain white matter pathways show a certain degree of specificity, which can reflect changes of early olfactory dysfunction in Parkinson's disease. In this study, we apply the functional covariance connectivity (FCC) method to decode FCC of gray and white matter in olfactory-related brain regions in Parkinson's disease.
