Background: In the maxillary anterior region, differences in bone density along the drilling path can impact the accuracy of implant placement despite the use of a surgical guide. Background: Complicated crown-root fracture (CRF) involves severe injury to the crown, root, and pulp, and may be accompanied by multiple root fractures. The loss of a tooth has lifelong consequences for children and teenagers, but the maintenance of pulp health and the calcific healing of multiple root fractures are rarely reported in the literature.

Case Summary: This case reports healing of a permanent tooth with complicated crown-root and additional root fractures, in which pulp health was maintained.

Objective: Although belimumab has been widely used in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) globally, real-world safety data among Chinese patients are limited, particularly for children. This study assessed the safety and tolerability of belimumab in adult and paediatric patients with SLE in China in real-world clinical practice.

Ischemic stroke is a devastating medical condition with poor prognosis due to the lack of effective treatment modalities. Transplantation of human neural stem cells or primary neural cells is a promising treatment approach, but this is hindered by limited suitable cell sources and low expansion capacity. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of concentrated growth factor (CGF) membrane for the sealing of alveolar socket in alveolar ridge preservation (ARP). A total of 22 patients with 24 alveolar sockets were recruited and divided randomly into CGF group and Bio-Gide collagen membrane group. The soft tissue wound healing rate was calculated using intraoral scanner at 3, 7, and 14 days after ARP, and the bone resorption volume at 1, 3, and 5 mm below the alveolar ridge was measured by CBCT at 6 months postoperation.
