[Acquisition of Primary Ph Bone Marrow Cells and Establishment of Ph B-ALL Mouse Model].

Objective: To harvest the primary Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph) cells of B-acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and to establish the B-ALL mouse model.

Methods: The plasmid carrying fusion gene was transferred into the bone marrow(BM) cells of C57BL/6J mice by retrovirus. Syngeneic mice irradiated with 9 Gy of Co γ-ray were injected with the transfected BM cells as the first generation (G1), and then the primary cells from the spleen and BM of the diseased mice were obtained and frozen.

Background: Bladder carcinoma is a type of urological tumor with high risks of recurrence and progression. The triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index has demonstrated significant promise as a prognostic marker for metabolic health in different types of cancer. To explore the efficacy of vonoprazan fumarate in the treatment of laryngopharyngeal reflux disease（LPRD） evaluated by the Chinese version of the RSS-12 scale. A total of 100 LPRD patients treated in the otolaryngology-head and neck surgery outpatient clinic of our hospital were randomly divided into two groups（50 cases each）. The observation group was treated with vonoprazan fumarate（20 mg, once daily）, and the control group was treated with esomeprazole enteric-coated capsules（20 mg, twice daily） for 12 weeks.

Effects of Sodium Bicarbonate Ringer's Solution Combined with Positive End-Expiratory Pressure on the Internal Environment of Patients Undergoing Bariatric Surgery: A Randomized 2 × 2 Factorial Design Pilot.

Background: To evaluate the influence of sodium bicarbonate Ringer's solution (BRS) combined with positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) on the internal environment in patients who have undergone laparoscopic bariatric surgery.

Methods: A total of 128 patients undergoing laparoscopic bariatric surgery were randomly divided into the control group (group C), the PEEP group (group P), the BRS group (group B), and the BRS combined with the PEEP group (group BP). The results of arterial blood gas analysis, including pH value, base excess (BE), concentrations of electrolyte, and lactate (Lac) were documented before intravenous infusion (T0) and 5 min after the surgery (T1).

High expression of immune checkpoint molecule B7-H3 (CD276) in many cancer types makes it a promising immunotherapeutic target. Both coinhibitory and costimulatory effects of B7-H3 in tumors have been demonstrated, but the mechanism of B7-H3 immune response under dual effects is open to question. B7-H3 is crucially involved in the migration and invasion, angiogenesis, metabolism and chemotherapy resistance of prostate cancer.

Plasma tissue plasminogen activator-inhibitor complex levels in acute myocardial infarction patients: an observational study.

Introduction: The activation of the plasmatic coagulation system is a significant contributor to acute myocardial infarction (AMI). This study aimed to investigate the association between the levels of tissue plasminogen activator-inhibitor complex (t-PAIC), thrombin-antithrombin complex (TAT), plasmin-α2 plasmin-inhibitor complex (PIC), and thrombomodulin (TM) with clinical outcomes in patients with AMI.

Methods: Blood samples were collected from 368 patients presenting with acute myocardial infarction in the emergency department to assess levels of t-PAIC, TAT, PIC, and TM.

Background: Radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) represents an important treatment option for atrial fibrillation (AF); however, the recurrence rate following surgery is relatively high. This study aimed to predict the recurrence of AF after RFCA using interpretable machine learning models that combined the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index and the quantification of left atrial epicardial and pericoronary adipose tissue.

Methods: This retrospective study included 325 patients with AF who underwent their first successful RFCA, among whom 79 had confirmed recurrence.

Methods: The clinical data of 38 patients with Kuwada type Ⅱ acute closed Achilles tendon rupture who met the selection criteria between January 2020 and December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. Krachow suture via posterolateral incision was used in 24 cases (traditional group), and Achillon Achilles tendon suture guide combined with circuit suture via perineural channel was used in 14 cases (minimally invasive group).

Effects of Continuous Erector Spinae Plane Block on the Postoperative Sleep Quality for Patients Undergoing Thoracoscopic Lung Lobe Resection Surgery: A Prospective, Randomized Controlled Trial.

Purpose: To investigate the effect of continuous erector spinae plane block (ESPB) on postoperative sleep in patients undergoing thoracoscopic lung lobe resection surgery.

Patients And Methods: Eighty-six patients were randomly assigned into two groups: ESPB group (Group E) or control group (Group P). Group E received ESPB before induction, followed by continuous ESPB analgesia, while Group P received postoperative intravenous controlled analgesia.
