Objectives: The Immunoscore can categorize patients into high- and low-risk groups for prognostication in colorectal cancer (CRC). Collagen plays an important role in immunomodulatory functions in the tumor microenvironment (TME). However, the correlation between collagen and the Immunoscore in the TME is unclear.

Introduction: Limertinib (ASK120067) is a newly developed third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting both sensitizing EGFR and EGFR Thr790Met (T790M) mutations. Comparing nanoparticle polymeric micellar paclitaxel and solvent-based paclitaxel as first-line treatment of advanced non-small-cell lung cancer: an open-label, randomized, multicenter, phase III trial.

Background: Polymeric micellar paclitaxel (pm-Pac) is a novel Cremophor EL-free, nanoparticle micellar formulation of paclitaxel. We aimed to compare the efficacy and safety between pm-Pac plus cisplatin and solvent-based paclitaxel (sb-Pac) plus cisplatin in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Patients And Methods: A total of 448 stage IIIB to IV NSCLC patients were randomly assigned (2:1) to receive six 3-week cycles of either pm-Pac (230 mg/m) plus cisplatin (70 mg/m; n = 300), followed by dose escalation of pm-Pac to 300 mg/m from the second 3-week cycle if prespecified toxic effects were not observed after the first cycle, or sb-Pac (175 mg/m) plus cisplatin (70 mg/m; n = 148).

Molecular heterogeneity of guanine nucleotide binding-protein γ subunit 4 in left- and right-sided colon cancer.

Molecular heterogeneity determines the differences in the pathological features, prognosis and survival after relapse when comparing left-sided colon cancer (LCC) and right-sided colon cancer (RCC). At present, the discrepancy in the underlying molecular events between the two types of colon cancer has not been thoroughly investigated. The present study aimed to explore novel targets to predict the disease stage and prognosis of LCC and RCC.
