Objectives: The Immunoscore can categorize patients into high- and low-risk groups for prognostication in colorectal cancer (CRC). Collagen plays an important role in immunomodulatory functions in the tumor microenvironment (TME). However, the correlation between collagen and the Immunoscore in the TME is unclear.

The tumor, nodes and metastasis (TNM) classification system provides useful but incomplete prognostic information and lacks the assessment of the tumor microenvironment (TME). Collagen, the main component of the TME extracellular matrix, plays a nonnegligible role in tumor invasion and metastasis. In this cohort study, we aimed to develop and validate a TME collagen signature (CS) for prognostic prediction of stage II/III colorectal cancer (CRC) and to compare the prognostic values of "TNM stage + CS" with that of TNM stage alone.

We aimed to analyze the levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-12 (IL-12p70) in colorectal cancer and evaluate the predictive significance of clinical efficacy of patients with colorectal cancer treated with anti-vascular therapy combined with chemotherapy. A retrospective study of 162 patients with colorectal cancer in Fujian Medical University Hospital was conducted from January 2019 to December 2020. A comparative analysis of the levels of IL-6, TNF-α and IL-12p70 between the two groups were studied.

Introduction: Limertinib (ASK120067) is a newly developed third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting both sensitizing EGFR and EGFR Thr790Met (T790M) mutations. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of limertinib in patients with locally advanced or metastatic EGFR T790M-mutated NSCLC.
Methods: This is a single-arm, open-label, phase 2b study conducted at 62 hospitals across the People's Republic of China.

Background: Polymeric micellar paclitaxel (pm-Pac) is a novel Cremophor EL-free, nanoparticle micellar formulation of paclitaxel. We aimed to compare the efficacy and safety between pm-Pac plus cisplatin and solvent-based paclitaxel (sb-Pac) plus cisplatin in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Patients And Methods: A total of 448 stage IIIB to IV NSCLC patients were randomly assigned (2:1) to receive six 3-week cycles of either pm-Pac (230 mg/m) plus cisplatin (70 mg/m; n = 300), followed by dose escalation of pm-Pac to 300 mg/m from the second 3-week cycle if prespecified toxic effects were not observed after the first cycle, or sb-Pac (175 mg/m) plus cisplatin (70 mg/m; n = 148).

Molecular heterogeneity determines the differences in the pathological features, prognosis and survival after relapse when comparing left-sided colon cancer (LCC) and right-sided colon cancer (RCC). At present, the discrepancy in the underlying molecular events between the two types of colon cancer has not been thoroughly investigated. The present study aimed to explore novel targets to predict the disease stage and prognosis of LCC and RCC.

The neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and red cell distribution width (RDW) are markers of systemic inflammation with prognostic significance for cancers. The aim of the study was to investigate the predictive significance of pretreatment values of NLR, PLR, and RDW in cervical cancer. We retrospectively analyzed 515 patients with cancer.
