Background: Minimally invasive surgeries are increasingly central to modern medicine, particularly in liver transplantation. These techniques, which offer reduced trauma, precise operations, minimal bleeding, and swift recovery, are, however, unevenly adopted across China. Only a limited number of centers routinely perform minimally invasive donor hepatectomies, indicating a significant imbalance in the development and application of these advanced procedures.

Triple negative breast cancer is the most malignant subtype of breast cancer and current treatment options are limited. Radiotherapy is one of the primary therapeutic options for patients with TNBC. In this study, we discovered that the E3 ubiquitin ligase, HECTD3, promoted TNBC cell survival after irradiation.

Introduction: There is growing evidence indicating a complex interaction between blood metabolites and atopic dermatitis (AD). The objective of this study was to investigate and quantify the potential influence of plasma metabolites on AD through Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis.
Methods: Our procedures followed these steps: instrument variable selection, primary analysis, replication analysis, Meta-analysis of results, reverse MR analysis, and multivariate MR (MVMR) analysis.

Background/aims: : Liver cirrhosis involves chronic inflammation and progressive fibrosis. Among various immune cells, CD8+ T cells are considered a major contributor to hepatic inflammation and fibrosis. However, the exact molecular pathways governing CD8+ T-cell-mediated effects in cirrhosis remain unclear.

The tumor microenvironment involves interactions between host cells, tumor cells, immune cells, stromal cells, and vasculature. Characterizing and spatially organizing immune cell subsets and target proteins are crucial for prognostic and therapeutic purposes. This has led to the development of multiplexed immunohistochemistry staining methods.

Periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs), which are considered promising stem cells for regeneration of periodontal bony tissue, can also manipulate alveolar bone remodeling by exosomes. In this study, we investigated interactions between PDLSCs under osteogenic differentiation and osteoclast precursors. The results showed that conditioned medium from PDLSCs under 5d osteogenic induction promoted osteoclastogenesis of RAW264.

Background: The methylation SEPT9 (mSEPT9) appeared to be effective for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) detection. However, its performance in high-risk population has not been validated. We designed a pilot study and aimed to investigate the performance of mSEPT9, AFP, PIVKA-II and their combination in hepatic cirrhosis (HC) population.

In the diagnosis and treatment of plastic surgery, there are structural processing problems, such as positioning, moving, and reconstructing complex three-dimensional structures. Doctors operate according to their own experience, and the inability to accurately locate these structures is an important problem in plastic surgery. Emerging digital technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and three-dimensional printing are widely used in the medical field, particularly in plastic surgery.

Background: Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury (HIRI) is an unavoidable surgical complication after liver transplantation, but current HIRI treatments cannot achieve satisfactory clinical outcomes. Thus, safer and more effective prevention and treatment methods need to be explored.
Methods: Transcriptome messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) and long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) sequencing data were obtained from male Sprague-Dawley rats, and these data were used to identify the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and differentially expressed lncRNAs (DE-lncRNAs) between the HIRI and control samples.

Purpose: Inhibition of poly-ADP-ribose polymerase 1 (PARP1) could relieve phosphodiesterase 6 mutation-induced retinitis pigmentosa (RP). However, the mechanism related to PARP1 overexpression in the RP has not been clarified. We attempted to explore the potential mechanism related to PARP1 regulating RP.

Aim: To develop a reliable model to predict microvascular invasion (MVI) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by combining a large number of clinical and imaging examinations, especially the radiomic features of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Materials And Methods: Three hundred and one consecutive patients from two centres were enrolled. Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression was used to shrink the feature size, and logistic regression was used to construct a predictive radiomic signature.

Background: Worldwide, corneal transplantation (CT) is the most common type of tissue replacement and the increased rate of corneal graft rejection (CGR) after CT is a critical problem. Corneal endothelium cells (CECs) are often targets of the immune response mediated by graft-attacking effector T cells. However, the molecular mechanism underlying CGR remains poorly understood.

Background: Cluster of differentiation 4 positive (CD4) T cells play an important role in corneal graft rejection, especially the dynamic balance between regulatory T cells and helper T cells. This study aims to explore the upstream and downstream regulatory mechanisms of Th17 cell differentiation-mediated corneal allograft rejection.
Methods: By establishing rat corneal allograft transplantation model, transcriptome analysis was carried out to screen the differentially expressed genes related to T helper 17 (Th17) cell differentiation, and then cell experiments were used to verify the effect of miR-673-5p/Janus Kinase 2 (JAK2) signal on naïve CD4 T cell differentiation and the proliferation, migration, and tube formation ability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs).

Kidney transplantation is the promising treatment of choice for chronic kidney disease and end-stage kidney disease and can effectively improve the quality of life and survival rates of patients. However, the allograft rejection following kidney transplantation has a negative impact on transplant success. Therefore, the present study is aimed at screening novel biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of allograft rejection following kidney transplantation for improving long-term transplant outcome.

Human dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) hold great promise in bone regeneration. However, the exact mechanism of osteogenic differentiation of DPSCs remains unknown, especially the role of exosomes played in. The DPSCs were cultured and received osteogenic induction; then, exosomes from osteogenic-induced DPSCs (OI-DPSC-Ex) at different time intervals were isolated and sequenced for circular RNA (circRNA) expression profiles.
