Objective: Aseptic loosening (AL) is a common mechanical complication following reconstruction of the distal femoral cemented prosthesis (DFCP), often resulting in severe bone loss, which complicates prosthesis revision. 3D-printed personalized implants represent an emerging solution for the reconstruction of complex bone defects. This study aimed to investigate the early therapeutic effects of using a 3D-printed, customized, uncemented stem prosthesis for revising aseptic AL in DFCP.

In this study, we propose a triangular fixation stem (TFS) prosthesis to improve the fixation of URPF. The aim of this research is to investigate the biomechanical properties of the TFS prosthesis and compare it with the conventional stem (CS) prosthesis through biomechanical experiments, providing preliminary biomechanical evidence for prosthetic fixation of URPF.

[Efficacy of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation based on a total body irradiation conditioning treatment regimen for adult acute lymphocytic leukemia].

To analyze the efficacy of allo-HSCT with total body irradiation (TBI) and chemotherapy alone in the treatment of adult ALL and to explore the factors affecting prognosis. The clinical data of 95 adult patients with ALL who underwent allo-HSCT from January 2015 to August 2022 were included. According to the conditioning regimen, the patients were divided into two groups: the TBI plus cyclophosphamide (TBI/Cy) group (=53) and the busulfan plus cyclophosphamide (Bu/Cy) group (=42).

Anlotinib combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy for recurrent pelvic osteosarcoma treatment: a case report and literature review.

At present, the treatment of recurrent pelvic osteosarcoma is too simple, and most of the patients are treated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and/or combined surgery. Here, we report a 29-year-old man diagnosed with local recurrent pelvic osteosarcoma. Imaging showed that the tumor had obvious enhancement and abundant blood vessels.

Assessment for bone health in patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma after postoperative thyroid-stimulating hormone suppression therapy: a new fracture risk assessment algorithm.

Purpose: The fracture risk assessment tool (FRAX) is used to assess the 10-year risk of major site and hip fractures; however, whether this tool can be applied to patients receiving levothyroxine-based thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) suppressive therapy for postoperative differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) patients is yet to be clarified.

Methods And Design: A total of 64 patients with DTC following thyroidectomy and oral levothyroxine for TSH suppression therapy and 30 gender- and age-matched controls were collected. The fracture risk was compared between the affected groups with different TSH levels.

Background And Purpose: This study aimed to determine the changes in cerebral blood flow (CBF) in patients who received different durations of hemodialysis (HD) using arterial spin labeling magnetic resonance imaging.

Methods: The study included 46 patients who received HD and 24 demographically similar healthy controls (HCs). Patients who received HD were divided into three subgroups based on its duration: HD-1 (=15, dialysis duration ≤24 months), HD-2 (=16, dialysis duration >24 and ≤72 months), and HD-3 (=15, dialysis duration ≥73 months).

Two independent researchers extracted the data between January 2000 and May 2022.

Single-branched stent-graft with on-table fenestration for endovascular repair of primary retrograde type A aortic dissection: A multicenter retrospective study.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the feasibility, efficacy, and safety of a single-branched stent-graft with on-table fenestration for primary retrograde type A aortic dissection (RTAD) during thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR).

Materials And Methods: From January 2019 to December 2021, 36 patients with primary RTAD from five tertiary hospitals received medical management in the acute phase. They underwent TEVAR with a proximal zone 1 landing for aortic arch reconstruction in the subacute phase, using a fenestration technique on a single-branched stent-graft.
