Gastrointestinal complications of hepatic glycogen storage disease: a national survey questionnaire study in China.

Background: Hepatic glycogen storage diseases (GSD) are inborn errors of metabolism with abnormal storage or utilization of glycogen, a complex disease with significant genetic heterogeneity and similar clinical manifestations. This study aimed to describe the gastrointestinal symptoms and endoscopic features of hepatic GSD, including types Ia, Ib, III, VI, and IX, to provide evidence for etiology and treatment.

Methods: A national cohort survey questionnaire was distributed to patients diagnosed with GSD type Ia, Ib, III, VI, and IX through genetic testing or their parents in mainland China in May 2022.

A ceramic microbridge microfluidic chip to study osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells in bioactive ceramic immune microenvironment.

Bioactive ceramics have been used in bone tissue repair and regeneration. However, because of the complex in vivo osteogenesis process, long cycle, and difficulty of accurately tracking, the mechanism of interaction between materials and cells has yet to be fully understood, hindering its development. The ceramic microbridge microfluidic chip system may solve the problem and provide an in vitro method to simulate the microenvironment in vivo.

However, data assessing the association of HCC risk factors with LI-RADS major features are lacking. To evaluate whether the association between HCC risk factors and each CT/MRI LI-RADS major feature differs among individuals at-risk for HCC.

[Structural equation model study on the correlation between sense of coherence, job stressors and mental health of nurses practitioners].

To investigate the sense of coherence, job stressors and mental health status of nurses practitioners, and analyze the correlation among them. In September 2020, nurses practitioners in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province were selected as the research objects by convenience sampling method. The Sense of Coherence Scale, Nurses' Job Stressors Scale and SCL-90 were used to investigate their sense of coherence, job stressors and mental health status, respectively.

The Prognostic and Risk Factors for Children With High-Risk Mature B-Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma: A Retrospective Multicenter Study.

Backgrounds And Aims: Our previous study (CCCG-BNHL-2015) reported the treatment strategies and outcomes of pediatric B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (B-NHL) in China which showed that children in low-risk groups already have a dramatically favorable prognosis. However, for high-risk groups, the prognosis still needs to be improved. In this study, we aimed to identify the factors influencing prognosis in high-risk groups (stage III and stage IV).

Background: Investigating immune cell infiltration in the brain post-ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury is crucial for understanding and managing the resultant inflammatory responses. This study aims to unravel the role of the RPS27A-mediated PSMD12/NF-κB axis in controlling immune cell infiltration in the context of cerebral I/R injury.

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of nusinersen for the treatment of 5q-spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) among Chinese pediatric patients.

Methods: Using a longitudinal, multi-center registry, both prospective and retrospective data were collected from pediatric patients with 5q-SMA receiving nusinersen treatment across 18 centers in China. All patients fulfilling the eligibility criteria were included consecutively.

Tongxinluo, a traditional Chinese medicine compound, has shown promise in improving outcomes for patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial investigated the efficacy of Tongxinluo in reducing major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCEs) in STEMI patients. The study enrolled 3777 patients from 124 hospitals in China, all of whom received standard STEMI treatments in addition to either Tongxinluo or placebo for 12 months.

The immune mechanisms of long coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID) are not yet fully understood. We aimed to investigate the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)-specific memory immune responses in discharged COVID-19 patients with and without long COVID symptoms. In this cross-sectional study, we included 1041 hospitalized COVID-19 patients with the original virus strain in Wuhan (China) 12 months after initial infection.

A multicenter clinical epidemiology of pediatric pneumococcal meningitis in China: results from the Chinese Pediatric Bacterial Meningitis Surveillance (CPBMS) 2019-2020.

Objective: To analyze the clinical epidemiological characteristics including clinical features, disease prognosis of pneumococcal meningitis (PM), and drug sensitivity of isolates in Chinese children.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical, laboratory microbiological data of 160 hospitalized children less than 15 years of age with PM from January 2019 to December 2020 in 33 tertiary hospitals in China.

Results: A total of 160 PM patients were diagnosed, including 103 males and 57 females The onset age was 15 days to 15 years old, and the median age was 1 year and 3 months.
