Endometriosis (EMS) is a chronic disease that can cause dysmenorrhea, chronic pelvic pain, and infertility, among other symptoms. EMS diagnosis is often delayed compared to other chronic diseases, and there are currently no accurate, easily accessible, and non-invasive diagnostic tools. Therefore, it is important to elucidate the mechanism of EMS and explore potential biomarkers and diagnostic tools for its accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Aims: Previous studies have reported inconsistent findings on the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy in women with implantation failure. The objective of this review was to evaluate whether PRP administration could improve pregnancy outcomes in women with implantation failure undergoing in vitro fertilization.

Methods: Electronic databases were searched for studies that explored the effects of PRP for patients with implantation failure.

Unlabelled: The objective of this systematic review is to synthesize the available evidence on the effectiveness of magnesium supplements on the markers of inflammation, oxidative stress (OS), and metabolism in PCOS patients and to provide a basis for its clinical treatment. Electronic databases (PubMed, Cochrane Library databases, Embase, Web of science, CMB, CNKI, VIP, Wan Fang and ClinicalTrials.gov) were searched from their inception until January 2022.

With the continuous advances in molecular biotechnology, many new cell death methods have been discovered. Pyroptosis is a programmed cell death process that differs from apoptosis and autophagy in cell morphology and function. Compared with apoptosis and autophagy, pyroptosis is primarily mediated by intracellular inflammasome and gasdermin D of the gasdermin protein family and involves the release of numerous inflammatory factors.

Reproductive Medicine Center of the 1st Hospital of Lanzhou University, #1 Donggang West Road, Lanzhou, 730000, Gansu, People's Republic of China; Key Laboratory for Reproductive Medicine and Embryo of Gansu, #1 Donggang West Road, Lanzhou, 730000, Gansu, People's Republic of China. Electronic address:

To evaluate the effect of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRHa) pretreatment time on clinical outcomes of patients who underwent endometrial preparation in HRT cycles and the molecular mechanism in frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles, we retrospectively chose 1143 cycles and separated four groups. Endometrial tissues were collected from 44 patients who were cancelled on the day of embryo transfer (there were 10 patients refused to collect endometrium) and were tested for endometrial receptivity marker mRNA and miR-124-3p expression. Furthermore, endometrial stromal cells (ESCs) were transfected to investigate the molecular mechanism.

Polycystic ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most popular diseases that cause menstrual dysfunction and infertility in women. Recently, the relationships between the gastrointestinal microbiome and metabolic disorders such as obesity, type 2 diabetes and PCOS have been discovered. However, the association between the gut microbiome and PCOS symptoms has not been well established.

l-carnitine is a natural compound that is indispensable for energy metabolism in mammals. The efficiency and safety of l-carnitine in improving sperm activity, enhancing epididymal function and treating male infertility has been widely acknowledged by clinicians. CircRNAs can regulate gene expression at the transcriptional or post-transcriptional level by serving as a molecular sponge of miRNAs with miRNA response elements.

To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ombitasvir/paritaprevir/ritonavir (OBV/PTV/r) 25/150/100 mg once daily and dasabuvir (DSV) 250 mg twice daily combined with ribavirin in adult patients of Mainland China with chronic HCV genotype 1b infection and compensated cirrhosis. An open-label, multicenter, phase 3 clinical trial study was conducted in mainland China, Taiwan, and South Korea. Adult patients with compensated cirrhosis (Metavir score =F4) who were newly diagnosed and treated for hepatitis C virus genotype 1b infection with ombitasvir/paritaprevir/ritonavir and dasabuvir combined with ribavirin for 12 weeks were included.

Background/aims: CircRNAs play an important role in regulating gene expression and the specific role of circRNAs in the pathogenesis of repeated implantation failure remains unclear. The aim of this study is to assess the differentially expressed circRNAs in patients with repeated implantation failure.

Methods: We screened circRNA expression profiles in endometrial biopsies taken from six women with repeated implantation failure and control group using circRNA microarray.

BACKGROUND Liver X receptor (LXR) is a nuclear receptor presenting in macrophages; it works indispensably in lipid metabolism control and also negatively regulates the expression of inflammatory genes in macrophages. There are many LXR-related studies in adults with metabolic syndrome but rare reports in obese children with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). The aim of this study was to investigate the expression of LXR, cholesterol ester transfer protein (CETP), and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) genes in obese children with OSAHS compared with obese children without OSAHS and non-obese children.

This study aimed to explore the role of tissue factor (TF) and evaluate its antitumor effects in the biological processes of gastric cancer cells using the application of RNA interference technology to silence TF in the SGC7901 gastric cancer cell line. Specific small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed for targeting human TF was transfected into SGC7901 cells. The expression levels of TF in the cells were detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction.
