Research Unit in Natural Products Chemistry and Bioactivities, Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University Lampang Center, Lampang 52190, Thailand.

Bioactive-guided phytochemical investigation of L. growing in Vietnam led to the isolation of five -atisanes, one --atisane, and one lathyrane (ingol-type). The structures were elucidated as -131617-tetrahydroxyatisane (), ethyl -3,4--4,16,17-trihydroxyatisane-3-carboxylate (), -atisane-3-oxo-16,17-acetonide (), -3-acetoxy-16,17-dihydroxyatisane (), -16,17-dihydroxyatisane-3-one (), calliterpenone (), and ingol 12-acetate ().

Vacuum ultraviolet irradiation for mitigating dissolved organic nitrogen and formation of haloacetonitriles.

Environ Res

June 2020

Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, and Research Center for Environmental and Hazardous Substance Management, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen, 40002, Thailand; Center of Excellence on Hazardous Substance Management (HSM), Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, 10330, Thailand. Electronic address:

The main objective of this work was to investigate the feasibility of using vacuum ultraviolet (VUV, 185 + 254 nm) and ultraviolet (UV, 254 nm) for the reduction of dissolved organic nitrogen (DON) and haloacetonitrile formation potential (HANFP) of surface water and treated effluent wastewater samples. The results showed that the reduction of dissolved organic carbon (DOC), DON, hydrophobicity (HPO), absorbance at 254 nm (UV), and fluorescence excitation-emission matrix (FEEM) of both water samples by VUV was higher compared to using UV. The addition of HO remarkably improved the performances of VUV and UV.

Caloinophyllin A, a new chromanone derivative from Calophyllum inophyllum roots.

Nat Prod Res

November 2018

a Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, Center of Excellence in Natural Products Chemistry , Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok , Thailand.

A new chromanone derivative, namely caloinophyllin A (1), along with eight known compounds (2-9), nobiletin (2), pentamethylquercetin (3), 3,5,7,4'-tetramethoxyflavone (4), 5,7,4'-trimethoxyflavone (5), 1,5-dihydroxyxanthone (6), 1,8-dimethoxy-2-hydroxyxanthone (7), 1,6-dihydroxy-7-methoxyxanthone (8) and 4-methoxycaffeic acid (9) were isolated from the roots of Calophyllum inophyllum. The structures of all the isolated compounds (1-9) were fully characterised using spectroscopic data, as well as comparison with the previous literature data. In addition, the quantum chemical calculation has been used to confirm the conformation of 1.

August 2017

Department of Chemistry and Research Laboratory for Analytical Instrument and Electrochemistry Innovation, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand; Center of Excellence for Innovation in Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. Electronic address:

Sequential injection (SI) system incorporated with amperometric immunosensor was developed for sensitive determination of human immunoglobulin G (HIgG). A cost effective label-free immunosensor was fabricated by immobilizing anti-HIgG on a graphene oxide (GO) modified screen-printed carbon electrode (SPCE). The developed electrode was characterized by cyclic voltammetry(CV), scanning electron microscope(SEM), and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) which confirmed the selective immunointeraction of HIgG to the anti-HIgG on the electrode, thus reduced the amperometric current of [Fe(CN)] redox probe.
