Objective:  The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of various cleaning protocols on the bond strength of dual-cure resin cement following temporary cementation.

Materials And Methods:  Fifty-two human third molars were sectioned to expose superficial dentin and divided into four groups: (1) fresh, noncontaminated dentin (control); (2) pumice cleaning; (3) pumice + sodium bicarbonate air polishing; and (4) pumice + 10-methacryloyloxydecyl dihydrogen phosphate (MDP) based cleaner. Groups 2, 3, and 4 were treated with noneugenol zinc oxide temporary cement, followed by their respective cleaning protocols.

Objectives:  This study aims to explore the beliefs and attitudes related to the adoption of teledentistry among Pakistani dental professionals, focusing on data security, practice enhancement, and patient benefits.

Material And Methods:  A cross-sectional study on a 5-point Likert scale assessed four domains of teledentistry: data security and patient consent, practice improvement capabilities, usefulness for dental practice, and patient benefits, among dental professionals through electronic forms. Demographic data and items from four domains were analyzed by descriptive statistics, analysis of variance and Pearson's correlation tests, respectively, using SPSS, with a -value of < 0.

Understanding the emissions and atmospheric impact of biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOCs) in subtropical forests remains limited despite their role in secondary pollutant formation. This study presents the first comprehensive BVOC dataset from the Huai Hong Khrai subtropical forest, Northern Thailand, during the dry season (March 4-9, 2024). Using thermal desorption gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (TD-GC-MS), we identified 45 BVOCs, dominated by monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, and oxygenated derivatives.

A novel fluorescence sensor utilizing label-free nitrogen self-doped carbon dots (NCDs) was developed for the sensitive, selective, and rapid determination of dichloran fungicide, popularly used in agricultural and horticultural fields. The NCDs were prepared from maleic anhydride and diethylenetriamine via a one-step pyrolysis process. They demonstrated strong blue fluorescence emission with a quantum yield of 12 %.

Background: Hospital studies suggest that scrub typhus is a leading cause of severe undifferentiated fever in regions across Asia where the disease is endemic, but the population-based incidence of infection and illness has been little studied.

Methods: We conducted a population-based cohort study to assess epidemiologic and clinical characteristics of scrub typhus in 37 villages in Tamil Nadu, India, where the disease is highly endemic. Study participants were visited every 6 to 8 weeks over a period of 2 years; a venous blood sample was obtained from those who had had fever since the last visit.

While canine-assisted intervention (CAI) has been shown to reduce self-reported stress, no studies have investigated stress levels and associated biomarkers in dogs and students simultaneously.
