Purpose: Impaction of a maxillary canine is a frequent occurrence and often requires a multidisciplinary approach for proper management. The success of different treatment modalities used to treat impacted maxillary canines is largely based on clinical experience and anecdotal evidence, with only a few studies published in the literature on the subject. Hence the aim of this study was to determine the success rate and the difference in duration of the various treatment modalities for impacted maxillary canines.

Dens invaginatus (dens in dente) is a rare malformation with a widely varied morphology. An unusual presentation of a type III dens invaginatus affecting a conical shaped permanent lateral incisor in an 8-year-old female patient is reported. The presence of a pulp stone and a periapical radiolucency further added onto the complexity of the case.

Larsen syndrome is a rare genetic disorder characterized by multiple dislocations of the large joints and characteristic craniofacial abnormalities. It exists in both a severe autosomal recessive form and a mild autosomal dominant variety. To date, only three authors have reported oral findings for this syndrome.

Functional, esthetic and biologic restoration of a fractured incisor often presents a daunting clinical challenge. The outcome of conventional composites, prosthodontic restorations in a young patients result in an uncertain longevity of the same. Reattachment of the fractured fragment of a tooth helps in maintaining both morphology and esthetics in a growing child until the permanent long lasting solution is sought after the complete development of the dentition and the jaws.

Vital pulp therapy of immature, symptomatic permanent posterior teeth presents a challenge in pediatric endodontics. A case report is presented in which cervical pulpotomy with calcium hydroxide was performed on a cariously exposed mandibular first permanent molar. The patient was seen every 3 months for a total of 18 months for a clinical and radiographic follow up.
