Background: High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy is a relatively new method used in patients with respiratory distress. The aim of the study was to evaluate the outcomes and to determine the baseline predictors of HFNC treatment failure in children with acute respiratory distress/failure in the pediatric emergency department.

In our study, we assessed the effectiveness of single-dose GnRH-a administration in dual-triggered cycles on pregnancy outcomes.
Material And Methods: Eighty women who underwent intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycle and had fresh blastocyst transfer were divided into two groups in terms of luteal phase support.

Background: We aimed to evaluate the predictability of extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-producing bacteria (PB) with inflammation markers and hemogram parameters as neutrophil-lymphocyte-ratio (NLR), platelets-lymphocyte-ratio (PLR) and mean-platelet-volume (MPV) in infants with febrile urinary tract infection until the urine cultures are resulted.
Methods: Infants between 2-24 months hospitalized for the first febrile urinary tract infections were grouped as those infected with ESBL-PB and non-ESBL-PB. The demographic and laboratory data (inflammation markers and hemogram parameters) and the ultrasonographical findings were compared between the two groups.

Introduction: High failure and recurrent prolapse remains an important issue for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) surgery. The posterior intravaginal slingplasty (PIVS) is a minimally invasive, transperineal technique providing level I support, by creating neo-sacrouterine ligaments using a mesh. In order to reduce the POP recurrence rate, achieve a safer apical support and thereby better functional outcomes, we attached PIVS tape to the sacrospinous ligament bilaterally and compared the anatomical and functional outcomes for our modified technique versus the original PIVS.
