Objectives: This study aims to compare the elastographic properties of the ovaries of patients with poor ovarian response (POR) with healthy controls by using real-time ultrasound tissue elastography and to investigate the predictive value of ovarian strain ratio (OSR) in the diagnosis of POR.

Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among infertility patients. OSR measurements of 46 women diagnosed with POR and 41 healthy controls with male infertility were performed by real-time ultrasound tissue elastography.

The effects of open and closed suctioning systems on neonatal pain and vital signs in neonatal intensive care units.

Background: Endotracheal suctioning is a procedure used by neonatal intensive care unit nurses to maximize oxygenation and clear airways of secretions, and is one of the most common painful procedures causing stress in intubated newborns.

Aim: This aim of this study is to compare the effects of open and closed endotracheal suctioning on pain, peak heart rate and oxygen saturation in neonates on mechanicalventilation.

Evaluating Headache Incidence and Characteristics After Botulinum Toxin Treatment in Blepharospasm and Hemifacial Spasm Patients: A Retrospective Cohort Clinical Study.

Objectives: The aim of the study is to assess the prevalence and clinical features of headache in patients treated with botulinum toxin for blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm. In addition, our secondary aim was to identify potential factors influencing the development of these headaches.

Methods: A total of 70 patients who were treated with on a botulinum toxin A for dystonia treatment in our clinic between January 2023 and March 2023 were retrospectively screened, and the clinical and demographic characteristics of the patients who reported headache complaints after the last botulinum toxin treatment were examined.

Methods: A total of 141 MG patients between April 2020 and December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. Data including demographic and clinical characteristics of patients, COVID-19 test results, and vaccine types (mRNA-BNT162b2 and/or inactivated-CoronaVac) were recorded.

Determining the Spiritual Care and Comfort Needs of Patients Having Undergone Open-Heart Surgery: Cross-Sectional Descriptive Study in Turkey.

This study was aimed at determining the spiritual care and comfort needs of patients having undergone open-heart surgery. This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with 147 patients in the Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit of a training and research hospital in Izmir, a province in western Turkey, between May 1, 2022 and November 1, 2022. The comfort level of the patients who had undergone open-heart surgery was moderate, and the levels of their spiritual care needs were high.

Analyzing learning curve for supine percutaneous nephrolithotomy in urology resident training programme: comparative analysis.

Introduction: This article attempts to provide a comprehensive review of the learning objectives and importance of the supine percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) technique.

Material Method: We retrospectively reviewed the cases of Supine PCNL between January 2018 and January 2024. We divided the groups into 3: residents between 2 and 3 years (Group 1), residents between 4 and 5 years (Group 2), and endourologist (Group 3).

Background: We aimed to investigate the effect of the haemoglobin, albumin, lymphocyte and platelet (HALP) score on pathologic results and bladder cancer recurrence (BCR) in patients operated for upper urinary tract tumours (UTUCs).

Validation of PozQoL scale in Turkish population living with HIV: a cross-cultural adaptation study.

Background: The increasing number of people living with HIV requires a simple and easy-to-use quality of life (QoL) scale for people living with HIV (PLWH). This study aims to adapt the PozQoL scale into Turkish and assess its reliability and validity for the PLWH population in Turkey.

Methods: Translation-back-translation methodology was employed, and face-to-face interviews were conducted with 130 patients using the PozQoL, socio-demographic, and clinical data questionnaire.

Three computed tomography (CT)-based classifications, including Haraguchi, Bartoníček-Rammelt, and Mason-Molloy systems, have been developed to better determine the characteristics of posterior malleolus fractures (PMFs).
