Background And Objective: Diagnosis as the initial step of medical practice, is one of the most important parts of complicated clinical decision making which is usually accompanied with the degree of ambiguity and uncertainty. Since uncertainty is the inseparable nature of medicine, fuzzy logic methods have been used as one of the best methods to decrease this ambiguity. Recently, several kinds of literature have been published related to fuzzy logic methods in a wide range of medical aspects in terms of diagnosis.

Currently, ionizing radiation (IR) plays a key role in the agricultural and medical industry, while accidental exposure resulting from leakage of radioactive sources or radiological terrorism is a serious concern. Exposure to IR has various detrimental effects on normal tissues. Although an increased risk of carcinogenesis is the best-known long-term consequence of IR, evidence has shown that other diseases, particularly diseases related to inflammation, are common disorders among irradiated people.

Aim: In this study, we aimed to assess the level of good glycemic control, to determine association between adherence to antidiabetic medications and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and to examine factors influencing good glycemic control.
Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional design was employed among 369 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) from four Ministry of Health health centers in 2016. A sample of 3 ml blood was taken to measure the HbA1c, and patients were asked to fill out a pretested questionnaire.

Growth faltering and anaemia remain unacceptably high among infants and young children in Ethiopia. In this study, we investigated the relationships among Fe supplement use (ISU), Hb concentration and linear growth, hypothesising positive relationships between ISU and Hb, ISU and linear growth and Hb and linear growth. We used a nationally representative data of 2400 children aged 6-24 months from the Ethiopian Demographic and Health Survey (EDHS) 2011, conducted following a stratified, two-stage cluster sampling.

House dust mite (HDM) allergy is the leading cause of IgE-mediated hypersensitivity. Therefore identifying potential epitopes in the Dermatophagoide pteronyssinus 23 (Der p 23), a major house dust mite allergen will aid in the development of therapeutic vaccines and diagnostic kits for HDM allergy. Experimental methods of epitope discovery have been widely exploited for the mapping of potential allergens.

Unlabelled: The researchers sought to test the possible link between resting metabolic rate and bone mineral density through four adipokines. Participants with lower resting metabolic rate (RMR) per kilogram demonstrated higher total bone mineral density (BMD), total T-score, and total Z-score. Omentin-1 had a mediatory effect on the relationship between RMR/kg of body weight and bone parameters.
