Exploring the Evolution of Human Resource Analytics: A Bibliometric Study.

Behav Sci (Basel)

March 2023

Department of Financial Economy and Operation Management, Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences, University of Sevilla, 41018 Sevilla, Spain.

The objective of this study is to identify and analyze the most relevant scientific work being undertaken in HR analytics. Additionally, it is to understand the evolution of the conceptual, intellectual, and social structure of this topic in a way that allows the expansion of empirical and conceptual knowledge. Bibliometric analysis was performed using Bibliometrix and Biblioshiny software packages on academic articles indexed on the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases.

Introduction: Semen analysis is a clinical method aimed at determining the fertility of a male individual. The traditional subjective method lacks the reliability that can be achieved by computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA) technology. Unfortunately, this technology has only been used when taking into consideration individually different sperm characteristics.

The purpose of this research is to highlight the importance of periodically analyzing the data obtained from the technological sources used by customers, such as user comments on social networks and videos, using qualitative data analysis software. This research analyzes user sentiments, words, and opinions about virtual reality (VR) videos on YouTube in order to explore user reactions to such videos, as well as to establish whether this technology contributes to the sustainability of natural environments. User-generated data can provide important information for decision making about future policies of companies that produce video content.

Article Synopsis
  • The study introduces a new sonochemical method for creating ultra-small silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) under 15 nm, which are stable and quasi-spherical in shape.
  • Various analytical techniques, including UV-Vis spectroscopy and electron microscopy, were used to analyze the properties of these nanoparticles, confirming their size and purity.
  • The AgNPs demonstrated significant stability in both optical properties and size when exposed to UV radiation and different storage temperatures over extended periods.

Semen analysis is a key factor when determining the fertility ability in males. South American camelids, and in particular the alpaca, have been studied very little when compared with other farm animals. The aim of this work was to perform the kinematic characterization of alpaca spermatozoa collected directly from the deferent duct by using CASA-Mot (Computer Assisted Semen Analysis for Motility) technology.

Dog sperm head morphometry: its diversity and evolution.

Asian J Androl

February 2017

Department of Medicine and Animal Surgery, University Cardenal-Herrera-CEU, 46113 Moncada, València, Spain.

Dogs have been under strong artificial selection as a consequence of their relationship with man. Differences between breeds are evident that could be reflected in seminal characteristics. The present study was to evaluate differences in sperm head morphometry between seven well-defined breeds of dog: the British Bulldog, Chihuahua, German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, Spanish Mastiff, Staffordshire Terrier, and Valencian Rat Hunting dog.

This work evaluates sperm head morphometric characteristics in adolescents from 12 to 18 years of age, and the effect of varicocele. Volunteers between 150 and 224 months of age (mean 191, n = 87), who had reached oigarche by 12 years old, were recruited in the area of Barranquilla, Colombia. Morphometric analysis of sperm heads was performed with principal component (PC) and discriminant analysis.

Sperm quality is evaluated for the calculation of sperm dosage in artificial reproductive programs. The most common parameter used is motility, but morphology has a higher potential as a predictor of genetic quality. Morphometry calculations from CASA-Morph technology improve morphological evaluation and allow mathematical approaches to the problem.

DNA fragmentation has been shown to be one of the causes of male infertility, particularly related to repeated abortions, and different methods have been developed to analyze it. In the present study, two commercial kits based on the SCD technique (Halosperm ® and SDFA) were evaluated by the use of the DNA fragmentation module of the ISAS ® v1 CASA system. Seven semen samples from volunteers were analyzed.

Fuzzy ARTMAP neural networks have been proven to be good classifiers on a variety of classification problems. However, the time that Fuzzy ARTMAP takes to converge to a solution increases rapidly as the number of patterns used for training is increased. In this paper we examine the time Fuzzy ARTMAP takes to converge to a solution and we propose a coarse grain parallelization technique, based on a pipeline approach, to speed-up the training process.
