Hemangiomas are developmental vascular abnormalities and more than 50% of these lesions occur in the head and neck region, with the lips, tongue, buccal mucosa, and palate most commonly involved. They are considered as hamartomas rather than true neoplasms. Here we report a case of hemangioma of the body of the tongue, discussing the diagnostic aspects and treatment modalities of such lesion and emphasizing the role of the color Doppler ultrasonography, especially in the diagnosis and treatment.

Purpose: Host modulatory therapy has been proposed as a treatment for periodontal diseases. A class of herbal medicines, known to be immunomodulators, alters the activity of immune function through the regulation of informational molecules such as cytokines. In the current study, we tested the hypothesis that herbal immunomodulator drugs act as an adjuvant to scaling and root planing (SRP) in alleviating periodontal inflammation by improving clinical and biochemical parameters.

Statement Of Problem: Although criteria for assessing bone quality have been reported, an overall score that correlates bone quality with the primary stability and secondary stability of implants is not yet available.
Purpose: The purpose of this article was to propose a scoring index that will establish a correlation among the bone density values from computed tomography, maximum insertion torque values, and resonance frequency analysis in different phases of implant treatment.
Material And Methods: In this study, 60 implant sites were evaluated to assess bone density (Hounsfield units), insertion torque values (Ncm), and primary stability and secondary stability (implant stability quotient values obtained by using resonance frequency analysis).

Aim: To compare pretreatment and post-treatment dental arches in relation to intercanine and intermolar width changes in extraction and nonextraction treatment in class I patients.
Materials And Methods: In this retrospective study pretreatment and post-treatment dental casts of 60 patients (30 extractions of first premolars and 30 nonextractions) were selected. Anterior and posterior arch widths in the canine and molar regions from the most labial aspect of buccal surfaces, the canines and the molars were measured with the help of digital caliper on the study models and compared statistically to determine whether the dental arches were narrower after extraction treatment.
