Introduction: Dental crowding can be defined as a disparity in the relationship between the tooth size and arch length, which results in imbrication and rotation of teeth. Crowding of permanent teeth, especially in the anterior part of the mandible, is believed to be the most frequent form of malocclusion in children. The appropriate age for treatment of crowding is the late mixed dentition period.

Polysaccharides (PS) represent a broad class of polymer-based compounds that have been extensively researched as therapeutics and excipients for drug delivery. As pharmaceutical carriers, PS have mostly found their use as adsorbents, suspending agents, as well as cross-linking agents for various formulations such as liposomes, nanoparticles, nanoemulsions, nano lipid carriers, microspheres etc. This is due to inherent properties of PS such as porosity, steric stability and swellability, insolubility in pH.

Inflammation is often associated with the development and progression of cancer. The cells responsible for cancer-associated inflammation are genetically stable and thus are not subjected to rapid emergence of drug resistance; therefore, the targeting of inflammation represents an attractive strategy both for cancer prevention and for cancer therapy. Tumor-extrinsic inflammation is caused by many factors, including bacterial and viral infections, autoimmune diseases, obesity, tobacco smoking, asbestos exposure, and excessive alcohol consumption, all of which increase cancer risk and stimulate malignant progression.

Background: The aim of this study is the effect of stress distribution within the bone with varying implant crest module designs.
Materials And Methods: Finite element models of a straight two-piece 4 mm × 13 mm screw-shaped threaded implant with divergent, straight, and convergent implant crest module with their surrounding suprastructure embedded in mandibular second premolar area were created with ANSYS software. Different implant crest module designs incorporated in D2 types of bone under 100N axial and 100N at 20° oblique load were created to evaluate stress distribution in the crestal bone around implant crest module.

Adult patients are realizing that practical, realistic options now exist to "straighten" their teeth because the cosmetic dentistry revolution has begun to include even "adult short-term cosmetic orthodontics" as an integral part. Previously, the patients were bound to select between either the aesthetic benefits of ceramic or the bondability characteristic of composite, however this can now be fabricated in such a manner that still allows placement of a lingual splint so as to steady the orthodontic movement. This article describes a case study whereby the patient can attain the aesthetic benefits of an all ceramic crown or a veneer which was retained by incorporating/reinforcing a metal framework of crown itself.

Introduction: Malignant transformation of the Potentially Malignant Lesions (PML) in the oral cavity is associated with elevated mortality rate because of its aggressive and exceedingly invasive nature. Meticulous diagnosis and prompt therapy of PML may help prevent malignant conversion in oral lesions. Carcinogenic insult to oral cells results in chromosomal damage and formation of Micronuclei (Mn), before the development of clinical symptoms.
