Prognosis of solitary bone plasmacytoma of the extremities: A SEER-based study.

Due to the rarity of solitary bone plasmacytoma (SBP), few studies reported the prognosis and survival predictors of SBP, especially for patients with extremity SBP.A total of 552 patients with extremity SBP were identified from the Surveillance Epidemiology and Ends Results (SEER) database between 1973 and 2016. In order to obtain independent predictors of survival, we performed both univariate and multivariate analysis via Cox proportional hazards model.

A machine learning-based survival prediction model of high grade glioma by integration of clinical and dose-volume histogram parameters.

Purpose: Glioma is the most common type of primary brain tumor in adults, and it causes significant morbidity and mortality, especially in high-grade glioma (HGG) patients. The accurate prognostic prediction of HGG is vital and helpful for clinicians when developing therapeutic strategies. Therefore, we propose a machine learning-based survival prediction model by analyzing clinical and dose-volume histogram (DVH) parameters, to improve the performance of the risk model in HGG patients.

Establishing a novel prognostic tool for Ewing sarcoma patients: Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database analysis.

Patients diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma (ES) usually experience poor outcomes. Accurate prediction of ES patients' prognosis is essential to improve their survival. Given that ES is a relatively rare tumor with a low incidence, we aim at developing a prognostic nomogram of ES patients based on a large sample analysis.

Treatment of limb synovial sarcoma with metastasis at presentation.

Limb synovial sarcoma (LSS) patients with metastasis at presentation usually have a very poor prognosis. Little is known about survival prediction and risk factors in these patients owing to the condition's rarity. Thus, this study examined the survival and prognostic variables of metastatic LSS.
