As an important part of perovskite solar cells (PSCs), hole transporting layer (HTL) has a critical impact on the performance and stability of the devices. The internal magnetism introduced by the magnetic nanoparticles combined with the external magnetic field can provide an effective way to modulate the thermoelectric (TE) properties of materials. Herein, we comparably investigate the effect of magnetism of FeO nanoparticles (FeO-NPs) and the external magnetic field on the cryogenic thermoelectric properties of FeO-NP/BiSb nanocomposites. With the ferromagnetism-superparamagnetism transition, the FeO-NPs in the superparamagnetic state exhibit a stronger magneto-trapped carrier effect, where the electron concentration at high temperature is evidently reduced.

In the present work, a ZSM-5 (core)/SAPO-11 (shell) composite was prepared by the hydrothermal method and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), temperature programmed desorption of ammonia (NH-TPD), and other characterization techniques. The catalytic performance of ZSM-5/SAPO-11 for the methylation of naphthalene with methanol was also studied. For comparison, the mechanical mixture was prepared through the blending of ZSM-5 and SAPO-11.

We investigate whether firms that rely on major suppliers or customers, which is defined as supply chain concentration, tend to hold more financial assets than other firms due to supply chain pressure. We find that firms with a higher supply chain concentration have a higher financialization level. The firms' competitive power reduces their financialization level but cannot reverse the adverse impact of supply chain concentration.

The Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn removal efficiencies achieved by flushing with FeCl were determined in a field experiment using soil contaminated with multiple metals. Soil was first flushed with FeCl and then with FeCl or a mixture of chelators. The rapid suppression of SARS-CoV-2 transmission remains a priority for maintaining public health security throughout the world, and the agile adjustment of government prevention and control strategies according to the spread of the epidemic is crucial for controlling the spread of the epidemic. Thus, in this study, a multi-agent modeling approach was developed for constructing an assessment model for the rapid suppression of SARS-CoV-2 transmission under government control. Different from previous mathematical models, this model combines computer technology and geographic information system to abstract human beings in different states into micro-agents with self-control and independent decision-making ability; defines the rules of agent behavior and interaction; and describes the mobility, heterogeneity, contact behavior patterns, and dynamic interactive feedback mechanism of space environment.

Landfills have served as the final repository for > 50 % municipal solid wastes in the United States. Because of their widespread uses and persistence in the environment, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) (>4000 on the global market) are ubiquitously present in everyday consumer, commercial and industrial products, and have been widely detected in both closed (tens ng/L) and active (thousands to ten thousands ng/L) landfills due to disposal of PFAS-containing materials. The catalytic ozonation-based advanced oxidation process (AOP) is applied to remove nondegradable chemical oxygen demand (COD), while the application in industry is limited by the economics and activity of catalysts. In this study, we demonstrate that by taking atrazine (ATZ) as a model pollutant, the removal rates of catalytic ozonation were negatively correlated with the interlayer water content of metal-modified montmorillonite (M@MMT), instead of the loadings metals.
