Based on their morphologies or states, Au-based materials will be operative under a specific aqueous or organic phase. Reduction of Au by amphiphilic sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate is proposed to improve the phase challenge an amphiphilic nature. Moreover, the green approach is expected to be suitable to prepare myriad Au-based materials which can be applied with a limited phase problem.
