The photocatalytic activity of photocatalysts is severely hampered by limited visible light harvesting and unwanted fast recombination of photogenerated e and h. In the current study, the photocatalytic efficiency of Cu-ZnO/S-g-CN (CZS) nanocomposites was investigated against MB dye. The composite materials were designed chemical co-precipitation method and characterised by important analytical techniques.

Nanographenes, or extended polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, have been attracting increasing attention owing to their widespread applications in organic electronics. However, the atomically precise fabrication of nanographenes has thus far been achieved only through synthetic organic chemistry. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are popular research subjects due to their high stability, rigid planar structure, and characteristic optical spectra.

In this study, photocorrosion of ZnO is inhibited by doping Ni in the ZnO nanostructure and electron-hole recombination was solved by forming a heterostructure with S-g-CN. Ni is doped into ZnO NPs from 0 to 10% (w/w). Among the Ni-decorated ZnO NPs, 4% Ni-doped ZnO NPs (4NZO) showed the best performance.

The excelling role of organic chemistry in the medicinal field continues to be one of the main leads in the drug development process. Particularly, this industry requires organic chemists to discover small molecular structures with powerful pharmacological potential. Herein, a diverse range of chalcone (1-11) and aurone (12-22) derivatives was designed and synthesized and for the first time, and both motifs were evaluated as potent inhibitors of alkaline phosphatases (APs).

This paper addresses the effect of Mn (2%, fixed) and Co (2, 4, and 6%, varied) substitution on the structural, optical, dielectric and magnetic responses of ZnO nanoparticles synthesized by the co-precipitation chemical route. The X-ray diffraction analysis confirms the hexagonal wurtzite structure of ZnO. The incorporation of co-doping in the ZnO host, indicated by peak shifting in the XRD patterns, enhanced the crystallite size of the Mn/Co dual-doped ZnO nanoparticles.

Innovative and specific double dual wavelength, dual ratio subtraction spectrophotometric methods were carried out along with a successive ratio subtraction spectrophotometric method for determination of dacarbazine and its related impurities including toxic and hazardous ones. For determination of dacarbazine by the double dual wavelength method, the absorbance differences between 323 and 350 nm of the zero order absorption spectra of dacarbazine were used. The values of absorbance difference between 267.

A simple, accurate and fast method was developed for the assessment of 3-nitrotyrosine as a biomarker for the early diagnosis of liver cirrhosis with minimal hepatic encephalopathy (MHE) using a (Eu(TTA)Phen) photo probe. 3-Nitrotyrosine can remarkably quench the luminescence intensity of the (Eu(TTA)Phen) complex in DMSO at pH = 9 and = 617 nm. The quenching of the luminescence intensity of (Eu(TTA)Phen) complex particularly the electrical emission band at = 617 nm is used for the assessment of 3-nitrotyrosine in different serum samples of patients with liver cirrhosis.

A well-defined heterojunction among two dissimilar semiconductors exhibited enhanced photocatalytic performance owing to its capability for boosting the photoinduced electron/hole pair transportation. Therefore, designing and developing such heterojunctions using diverse semiconductor-based materials to enhance the photocatalytic ability employing various approaches have gained research attention. For this objective, g-CN is considered as a potential photocatalytic material for organic dye degradation; however, the rapid recombination rate of photoinduced charge carriers restricts the widespread applications of g-CN.
