Materials and methods A total of 112 children aged four to eight years were contacted for follow-ups 12 months after they underwent SSC restorations by fifth- or sixth-year female dental students in 2018-2020.

Rare Pediatric Genetic Case Report of X-linked Hypohidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia Type 1.

Ectodermal dysplasia (ED) is a rare disorder that appears differently in clinical cases and can present with a variety of combinations and severities of abnormalities that can involve a variety of tissues. The disease might appear clinically as hypotrichosis, hypohidrosis, or hypodontia, among other clinical manifestations. The patient, a five-year-old boy, was seen at the Taibah University Dental Clinic and was diagnosed with X-linked hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia type 1 based on clinical radiographic and genetic findings.

Objectives: This research aimed to determine the fluoride levels in commercially available bottled waters and assess the accuracy of the fluoride levels labels on the bottles.

Methods: We obtained the labels from 28 water bottles from markets in Almadinah Almunawwarah. Water samples were diluted with an equal volume of total ionic strength adjustment buffer at the General Administration for Water Services.

Validity of self-reported number of teeth among Saudi older adults: A public health perspective.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the agreement between self-reported and clinically measured numbers of teeth in older adults from Almadinah Almunawwarah, KSA, and to identify factors associated with self-reporting accuracy.

Methods: This study included 337 older adults (≥60 years). Participants completed a survey assessing sociodemographic characteristics, self-rated oral and general health, and the self-reported number of teeth.
