Background: This study aimed to develop a new formula to easily estimate the vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) by using the distance between the mental foramen on a panoramic radiograph.
Subjects And Methods: A total of 508 dentulous subjects were selected from outpatient dental clinics at the College of Dental Medicine, Al-Azhar University. The vertical dimension of the occlusion was measured using a single calibrated calliper.

Objective: The current study aimed to investigate the characteristics of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and their association with microvascular density (MVD) in tumor progression in different grades of orofacial squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) in the Pakistani population.
Study Design: This prospective study included 234 patients with oral cancer reported at different hospitals in Pakistan diagnosed with OSCC. Tumors were graded on the Anneroth grading system and the association between the frequency of TAMs and MVD was examined in vivo.

Statement Of Problem: Immediate implant placement in the maxillary premolar area is challenged by anatomic variations imposing risks such as perforation of the buccal bone and the maxillary sinus. Previous studies have addressed the potentially relevant factors individually; a study assessing all relevant variables comprehensively and with a large sample size is lacking.
Purpose: The purpose of this observational study was to analyze multiple anatomic considerations, including sagittal root position, alveolar bone concavity angle, buccal bone perforation, maxillary sinus floor root proximity, and maxillary sinus perforation in the maxillary premolar area, using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to inform, perceive, and simplify the placement of immediate implants.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of acidic beverages on the surface topography and elemental composition of human teeth.
Methods: A total of five highly acidic beverages (Red Bull, Pepsi, Apple Cidra, Tang Mosambi, and Tang Orange) were investigated. The tooth specimens of experimental groups were submerged in each beverage and incubated at 37 °C for 7 days, whereas, the tooth specimens of control groups were placed in distilled water.

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) has completely changed the way that bone disorders are diagnosed and treated, especially in the dental and maxillofacial domains. This article examines the diverse applications of computed tomography (CBCT) in the diagnosis and treatment of facial trauma, including mandibular, dentoalveolar, and other facial fractures, as well as bone abnormalities like dislocations and fractures. CBCT is useful for a wide range of dental conditions and greatly improves diagnostic accuracy in periodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, and dental implantology.
