Introduction The goal of endodontic therapy is to completely eliminate the infection and stop microbes from infecting or reinfecting the root canal and the periradicular tissues. Amongst the primary microorganisms, (), a Gram-positive anaerobe, is the main cause of pulpal and periapical inflammation causing root canal failure. Literature evidence shows that the gold-standard calcium hydroxide is ineffective against due to its resistance to the alkaline pH and proton pump mechanism.

Advanced and uneven residual ridge resorption in mandibular edentulous arches leads to non-retentive and unstable dentures. The hardness of traditional heat-cured acrylic resin makes extending the denture base into bilateral lingual undercuts challenging. This can cause supporting tissue damage, pain, and ulcerations during denture insertion and removal.

In a clinical context, oral lymphomas are very uncommon and frequently challenging to identify. Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphomas are a diverse category of lymphomas that were formerly believed to be formed from B-cells located in the marginal zone, which surrounds B-cell follicles and the surrounding lymphoepithelium. Extranodal organs like the stomach, thyroid, and large salivary glands are where they most frequently appear.

Monocytes and their macrophage progeny are thought to be involved in tissue and alveolar bone destruction in periodontal disease. It has been documented that the proportion of (CD14 + CD16+) non-classical monocytes in the blood are elevated in chronic periodontitis;A total of 20 chronic generalized periodontitis patients who were otherwise healthy, were recruited for this study. At baseline and 3 weeks after non-surgical periodontal treatment, peripheral blood was obtained to assess the levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and the proportion of monocyte subsets.

Osteoarthritis in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is a chronic disease characterized by irreversible damage to articular surfaces, including inflammation, loss of articular cartilage, and subchondral bone alterations, which would be radiographically evident only in later stages. Symptomatic slow-acting so-called nutraceutical drugs have been proposed as a treatment for osteoarthritis in comparison to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) because of their appreciable safety profile even in long-term intake. Glucosamine, being one among them, proved highly efficient in knee osteoarthritis.

Aim: The present study aimed to assess the clinical outcome of root coverage following coronally advanced flap with or without amniotic membrane in Miller's class I or class II localized gingival recession in relation to anteriors.
Methods: Five patients with bilaterally symmetrical Miller's class I or class II localized gingival recession were included in the study. Each patient was divided into control (without amniotic membrane) and test sites (with amniotic membrane) arbitrarily.

Aim: The research was performed for the clinical and computerized tomography (CT) assessment of cortico-cancellous block allograft in the reconstruction of lateral alveolar ridge width deficiency prior to placement of dental implants.
Materials And Methods: Ten patients who had atrophic mandibular ridge necessitating bone augmentation prior to implant placement were randomly selected, and corticocancellous block allografts were used to augment the lateral ridge deficiency. The grafted site was assessed clinically and with CT preoperatively and 6 months postoperatively.

Aim: The present study aimed at evaluating the increase in the rate of tooth movement by increasing the number and frequency of micro-osteoperforations (MOPs).
Materials And Methods: The study was a single-center, split-mouth, randomized controlled trial. A total of 20 patients were included in the study who had fully erupted maxillary canines with class I molar canine relationship and a bimaxillary protrusion that required the removal of both maxillary and mandibular first premolars.

Objectives: This study was conducted to evaluate the levels of salivary uric acid and arginase in patients with periodontitis, generalized gingivitis, and in healthy individuals. Then, the effects of non-surgical periodontal therapy on levels of salivary arginase and uric acid were also investigated.
Methods: A total of 60 subjects were divided into three groups based on periodontal health: group I comprised 20 healthy individuals; group II comprised 20 subjects who had generalized gingivitis; group III comprised 20 subjects who had generalized periodontitis.

Objectives: The presence of red-complex bacteria (RCB) has been associated with the occurrence of not only periodontal disease but also other systemic diseases, thereby potentiating an oral-systemic relationship. This study aimed to explore the levels of periodontal RCB in pregnant preeclamptic women with periodontal disease, potentiating the pathophysiology of a bacterial association in both periodontitis and preeclampsia.
Methods: Six hundred pregnant women (aged 20 to 35 years) in their third trimester were selected and divided into 3 groups comprising a control group (systemically and periodontally healthy pregnant women), group A (preeclamptic women with chronic periodontitis), and group B (preeclamptic women without chronic periodontitis).

The study aimed to compare the mean crestal bone level (CBL) and peri-implant soft tissue parameters in laser micro-grooved (LMG) platform switched implants and abutments (I&A) post 1 year of functional loading among non-diabetic and type II diabetic individuals. Patients with an edentulous site having minimum bone height and width of ≥13 mm and ≥6 mm, respectively, were divided into two groups: (i) Non-diabetic-8 (control) and (ii) diabetic-8 (test). LMG Implants were placed and loaded immediately with a provisional prosthesis.

Background and objectives: The study aimed to evaluate and compare the amount of papillary gain and black triangle height reduction after intervention with a microtunnelling technique with either Connective tissue graft (CTG) or Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) as a biomatrix at 6 months using a microsurgical approach. Materials and Methods: Twenty-six patients with interdental papillary loss were included in the study. The patients were selected randomly for the study groups with thirteen patients in each group: a control group where CTG was utilised as a matrix, and a test group where PRF was utilised as a matrix, for interdental papillary reconstruction.

(1) Background: Dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) are derived from pulp tissue lodged within human teeth and are mesenchymal in origin. These DPSCs have been demonstrated to dissociate into clusters of various cell lineages and are very easy to isolate, culture, and expand. Melatonin, a multifaceted molecule with a spectrum of effects in the human body, is known to influence stem cell viability, proliferation, and differentiation, but little is known about the impact melatonin has on the capacity of DPSCs to differentiate into adipocytes, osteocytes, and chondrocytes.

A surge in oxidative stress and weakened antioxidant defense contributes to the initiation and progression of Coronary Artery Diseases (CAD). The resultant burst in free radicals causes oxidation of lipoproteins mainly oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL). Further studies need to be conducted to find whether the management of CAD can be evaluated within the context of oxidant/antioxidant balance with the contribution of newer markers.

Background: En masse retraction of the anterior teeth may create anchorage problems. The effective means of obtaining anchorage in en masse retraction is by the usage of temporary anchorage devices.
Aims And Objectives: The purpose of this study is focused on stress and strain created around miniscrew during en masse retraction using the cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) data obtained at two intervals and by the finite element analysis done using the CBCT data obtained.
