Background: High dose chemotherapy is one of the therapeutic strategies for breast cancer and doxorubicin (DOX) as a chemotherapy agent is widely used. DOX indication is limited due to its dose-depended cardiotoxicity. Recently, cannabidiol (CBD) shows antitumoral and cardioprotective effects, so we hypothesized that CBD administration with high-dose DOX chemotherapy can improve anticancer activity and reduce cardiotoxic side effects.

The role of long non-coding RNAs and circular RNAs in cervical cancer: modulating miRNA function.

Background/aim: Almond hull is produced in high amounts and mostly used as livestock feed. This study was designed to examine the impact of almond hull powder (AHP) administration on lipid profile and antioxidant activities in plasma and liver in hyperlipidemic rats.

The aims of this study were to evaluate the morphological and biochemical characteristics of cultivable canine gastric Helicobacter-like organisms (GHLOs) in pets and stray dogs and their prevalence in these two groups of dogs.

Bilateral parapelvic cysts that mimic hydronephrosis in two imaging modalities: a case report.

Parapelvic cysts are uncommon conditions that are usually found during autopsy. Their ultrasonographic appearance is similar to hydronephrosis. We report the case of a 46-year-old female with a 4-year history of vague flank pain and a previous history of bilateral moderate hydronephrosis.
