The optical anisotropy of the SbSe crystals was investigated at 300 and 11 K. Excitonic features of four excitons (A, B, C, and D) were observed in the optical spectra of the SbSe single crystals and in the photoelectric spectra of the Me-SbSe structures. The exciton parameters, such as the ground ( = 1) and excited ( = 2) state positions and the binding energy (Ry), were determined.

Luminescence at the axial centers of CdP-D crystals.

Emission lines of free excitons and excitons bound to axial centers have been observed in the luminescence spectra of CdP-D crystals doped with Mn, Sn, and Sb at 10 K. Bands models of excitons bound to axial centers (Mn, Sn, Sb) are proposed. The luminescence of crystals doped with Fe does not correspond to the axial centers band scheme.
