State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry, School of Chemistry and chemical Engineering, Nanjing University, Nanjing, 210023, China.

The construction of helical nanotubes based on chiral coordination polymers (CPs) is an intriguing but challenging task, which is important for the development of functional materials that combine macroscopic chirality with tube-related properties. Here, we selected a chiral europium phosphonate system, e. g.

Crosstalk is the primary source of noise in quantum computing equipment. The parallel execution of multiple instructions in quantum computation causes crosstalk, which causes coupling between signal lines and mutual inductance and capacitance between signal lines, destroying the quantum state and causing the program to fail to execute correctly. Overcoming crosstalk is a critical prerequisite for quantum error correction and large-scale fault-tolerant quantum computing.

pH and Salt-Assisted Macroscopic Chirality Inversion of Gadolinium Coordination Polymer.

Molecules

December 2022

State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Collaborative Innovation Center of Advanced Microstructures, Nanjing University, Nanjing 210023, China.

The precise adjustment of handedness of helical architectures is important to regulate their functions. Macroscopic chirality inversion has been achieved in organic supramolecular systems by pH, metal ions, solvents, chiral and non-chiral additives, temperature, and light, but rarely in coordination polymers (CPs). In particular, salt-assisted macroscopic chirality inversion has not been reported.

Controllable Macroscopic Chirality of Coordination Polymers through pH and Anion-Mediated Weak Interactions.

Chemistry

December 2021

State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Collaborative Innovation Center of Advanced Microstructures, Nanjing University, Nanjing, 210023, China.

Helical architectures with controllable helical sense bias have recently attracted considerable interest for mimicking biological helices and developing novel chiral materials. Coordination polymers (CPs), composed of metal ion nodes and organic linkers, are intriguing systems showing tunable structures and functions. However, CPs with helical morphologies have rarely been explored so far.

Research on Precision Blanking Process Design of Micro Gear Based on Piezoelectric Actuator.

Micromachines (Basel)

February 2021

School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Suqian College, Suqian 223800, China.

In order to process micro scale parts more conveniently, especially the micro parts with complex shape, a new micro blanking equipment based on piezoelectric ceramic driving is proposed in this paper. Compared with other large precision machining equipment, the equipment cost has been greatly reduced. Using displacement sensor to detect the change of output displacement and feedback control piezoelectric actuator to control the change of relevant parameters, the control precision is high.

Article Synopsis
  • The paper develops a reaction-diffusion SVIR model that incorporates factors such as disease relapse, vaccination, and a varying external source in a spatially heterogeneous environment.
  • It utilizes global exponential attractor theory and gradient flow methods, diverging from the Lyapunov function approach, to analyze the model's long-term dynamics and establishes results on global asymptotic stability and epidemic persistence.
  • Simulations conducted using real epidemic data confirm that disease relapse, vaccination, and spatial heterogeneity significantly impact the disease's uniform persistence in the population.

Based on the calculation of the inclusive financial development level of 22 provinces and 4 municipalities in China from 2004 to 2017, this paper uses the Kernel density estimation method to further analyze the evolution of the inclusive financial index. Based on the above analysis, we make empirical analysis of the impact of China's inclusive financial inclusion development index on farmers' entrepreneurship using static panel and dynamic panel estimation method. The empirical conclusions show that there are certain differences in inclusive financial inclusion development level in various provinces in China.

Counteranion Modulated Crystal Growth and Function of One-Dimensional Homochiral Coordination Polymers: Morphology, Structures, and Magnetic Properties.

Inorg Chem

October 2018

State Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Collaborative Innovation Center of Advanced Microstructures , Nanjing University, Nanjing 210023 , China.

Four pairs of enantiomeric dysprosium(III) phosphonates, namely, R- or S-[Dy(pempH)(pempH)](NO)·12HO ( R-1 or S-1), R- or S-[Dy(pempH)(pempH)]Cl·2HO ( R-2 or S-2), R- or S-[Dy(pempH)(pempH)]Br·2HO ( R-3 or S-3), and R- or S-[Dy(pempH)(pempH)](CFSO)·22HO ( R-4 or S-4) are reported, where R- or S-pempH represent R- or S-(1-phenylethyl)amino] methylphosphonic acid. All show homochiral chain structures, charge-balanced by counteranions. A comparison of the crystal morphologies of the R-isomers reveals that the overall shapes are quite similar for the four compounds, but the aspect ratio changes remarkably following the sequence: R-1 < R-2 < R-3 < R-4.

In this paper, we propose a smoothing inexact Newton method for solving variational inequalities with nonlinear constraints. Based on the smoothed Fischer-Burmeister function, the variational inequality problem is reformulated as a system of parameterized smooth equations. The corresponding linear system of each iteration is solved approximately.

A series of population models for Hyphantria cunea with delay and seasonality.

Math Biosci

October 2017

Laboratory of Mathematical Parallel Systems (Lamps), Department of Mathematics and Statistics, York University, Toronto, Ontario, M3J 1P3, Canada. Electronic address:

In this paper, we establish and study a basic stage-structured model for the population of Hyphantria cunea, a delay differential equation model and a model incorporating the resource and seasonality. By introducing the population reproduction number R, we show that R acts as a threshold parameter for the existence and stability of equilibria. The trivial equilibria of the above models are all globally asymptotically stable when R<1; the basic model and the delay-differential model have a unique positive equilibrium respectively, and they are both locally asymptotically stable when R>1; the model with periodic season is uniformly persistent and admits a positive periodic solution if R>1.

In order to meet the requirement of high sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratios (SNR), this study develops and optimizes a piezoresistive pressure sensor by using double silicon nanowire (SiNW) as the piezoresistive sensing element. First of all, ANSYS finite element method and voltage noise models are adopted to optimize the sensor size and the sensor output (such as sensitivity, voltage noise and SNR). As a result, the sensor of the released double SiNW has 1.

Strain driven sequential magnetic transitions in strained GdTiO3 on compressive substrates: a first-principles study.

J Phys Condens Matter

November 2014

Department of Basic Courses, Suqian College, Suqian 223800, People's Republic of China. Department of Physics, Southeast University, Nanjing 211189, People's Republic of China.

The compressive strain effect on the magnetic ground state and electronic structure of strained GdTiO3 has been studied using the first-principles method. Unlike the cases of congeneric YTiO3 and LaTiO3, both of which become the A-type antiferromagnetism on the (0 0 1) LaAlO3 substrate despite their contrastive magnetism, the ground state of strained GdTiO3 on the LaAlO3 substrate changes from the original ferromagnetism to a G-type antiferromagnetim, instead of the A-type one although Gd(3+) is between Y(3+) and La(3+). It is only when the in-plane compressive strain is large enough, e.
