Indocyanine green (ICG) has been employed in medical diagnostics due to its superior photophysical characteristics. However, these advantages are offset by its quick body clearance and inferior photo-stability. In this work, programmable prodrug carriers for chemotherapy/PDT/PTT against nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) were created in order to increase photo-stability and get around biochemical hurdles.

Dairy foods are crucial for adequate calcium intake in young children, but scarce data are available on the effects of formula milk on bone acquisition. This cluster-randomized controlled trial investigated the effects of the supplementation of formula milk on bone health in rural children accustomed to a low-calcium diet between September 2021 and September 2022. We recruited 196 healthy children aged 4-6 years from two kindergartens in Huining County, Northwest China.

The present study evaluated the anti‑oxidation and anti‑apoptotic neuroprotective effects of the apoptosis signal‑regulating kinase 1 (ASK1) inhibitor ethyl‑2,7‑dioxo‑2,7‑dihydro‑3H‑naphtho(1,2,3‑de)quinoline‑1‑carboxylate (NQDI‑1) in early brain injury (EBI) following SAH in a rat model. A total of 191 rats were used and the SAH model was induced using monofilament perforation.

Refractory or relapsing metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC) has a poor prognosis. Sacituzumab govitecan (SG) is a novel antibody-drug conjugate, targeting human trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (Trop-2). This is the first report of SG's efficacy and safety in Chinese patients with mTNBC.

This study examined the relationship between parents' and teachers' career-related support and career adaptability among Chinese male primary school preservice teachers ( = 772). The participants completed the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale-Short Version (CAAS), the Career-Related Parental Support Scale (CRPSS), and the Career-Related Teacher Support Scale (CRTSS).

Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) possesses tyrosine kinase activity and participates in cell growth, differentiation and migration, and survival. Its alterations, mainly including mutations, amplifications, and overexpression are associated with poor prognosis and are one of the major drivers in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Several clinical trials had been investigating on the treatments of HER2-altered NSCLC, including conventional chemotherapy, programmed death 1 (PD-1) inhibitors, tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), however, the results were either disappointing or encouraging, but inconsistent.

To guide the diagnosis and treatment of CIP, we conducted in-depth discussions based on the latest evidence, forming a consensus among Chinese experts on the multidisciplinary management of CIP.

DEFEAT: Decoupled feature attack across deep neural networks.

Adversarial attacks pose a security challenge for deep neural networks, motivating researchers to build various defense methods. Consequently, the performance of black-box attacks turns down under defense scenarios. A significant observation is that some feature-level attacks achieve an excellent success rate to fool undefended models, while their transferability is severely degraded when encountering defenses, which give a false sense of security.
