Introduction: This work presents a prospective analysis of the key aspects involved in the Spanish radiographer's perception of the weaknesses of the current educational curriculum in terms of teaching staff's qualifications and composition in the clinical training and core subjects. The goal is to show clinical training and professional's perception of the teaching quality and to characterise the weakness detected within the context of the European radiographer's academic system.

Methods: The perception of the quality of the training received by the professionals was collected through an anonymous survey.

Objective: Investigators sought to examine the period prevalence of CA-MRSA infections involving skin and soft tissue in a suburban private practice dermatology setting.

Methods: Chart reviews of 170 patients who had bacterial cultures taken from January 2007 to November 2007 were performed, with an analysis of sex, age, immune status, species of growth, type of lesion, and culture site.

Elastosis perforans serpiginosa (EPS) is a rare complication of D-penicillamine therapy. EPS has been reported in patients with Wilson disease, cystinuria, and rheumatoid arthritis after many years of high-dose therapy. The Zumbusch pattern of generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) classically presents as waves of widespread sheets of sterile pustules on brightly erythematous skin. The occurrence of this disease in childhood is rare, and fewer than 200 cases have been reported in the literature. We describe a 10-year-old boy with GPP who had an elevated serum antistreptolysin titer.

This case illustrates the clinical and pathological features of Tinea nigra. Awareness of the characteristic features of this cutaneous infection, especially in areas where the organism is endemic, can ultimately lead clinicians to the appropriate diagnosis. If Tinea nigra should be considered in the differential diagnosis of palmoplantar pigmentation, potassium hydroxide (KOH) preparation may facilitate the diagnosis.

Syringocystadenoma papilliferum (SP) commonly arises in conjunction with nevus sebaceous. Other less common lesions reported with SP include apocrine adenoma, condyloma acuminatum, hidradenoma papilliferum associated with hidrocystoma, poroma folliculare, and a single case ofverrucous carcinoma. We report the second case of verrucous carcinoma in conjunction with SP.

The Tumor Registry wheel has a sound, tested, basic design and could serve the dual purpose of a Radiation Oncology QADB. Many of the issues raised by Williamson regarding a QADB have already been addressed and tested by the Tumor Registry and commercially available Tumor Registry software. Registry personnel are trained in this type of data collection, coding and reporting.

We have reported a case of eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome associated with tryptophan ingestion. Our case meets the Centers for Disease Control surveillance definition of eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome. Our report describes clinical, laboratory, electromyographic and histologic findings that suggest this entity is a small vessel nonnecrotizing vasculitis.

Demographic data were collected on 803 patients who were treated for dependency/codependency issues at the Center for Problem Resolution (CPR) from September 1, 1986, until December 31, 1987. Comparisons were made between patients who completed treatment and noncompleters. Results are reported on the entire sample and then broken down into three patient categories.
