Assessment and prediction of index based agricultural drought vulnerability using machine learning algorithms.

The consequences of droughts are far-reaching, impacting the natural environment, water quality, public health, and accelerating economic losses. Applications of remote sensing techniques using satellite imageries can play an influential role in identifying drought severity (DS) and impacts for a broader range of areas. The Barind Tract (BT) is a region of Bangladesh located northwest of the country and considered one of the hottest, semi-arid, and drought-prone regions.

Dataset from Code-switching between English and Malay Languages in Malaysian Premier Polytechnics ESL Classrooms.

The data was collected using a mixed method study of convergent parallel design, conducted using classroom observations, interviews and questionnaires to triangulate the data obtained from the three Premier Polytechnics in Malaysia, which involved nine lecturers and 183 students. The data is useful in focussing on the structure that normally occurs whenever code-switching happens and to test on how effective it is in the learning of English. Further research could also be based on these data as to identify the potential functions of code-switching and its contribution towards the language policy in Malaysia as reference to other countries too.

Estimating solid waste generation and suitability analysis of landfill sites using regression, geospatial, and remote sensing techniques in Rangpur, Bangladesh.

Municipal solid waste (MSW) management has been a growing problem in fast-developing cities. A considerable amount of solid waste is generated daily and disposed anywhere, which creates an unhealthy environment. This study aims to develop a model to determine household solid waste (HSW) generation using multiple linear regression and identify suitable landfill sites to ensure proper MSW disposal in Rangpur City, Bangladesh.

Synthesis of FeAPO-34 Molecular Sieve under Ionothermal Condition.

FeAPO-34 with a chabazite (CHA) topology structure was successfully synthesized under ionothermal conditions using 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazoliumchloride (EMIMCl) ionic liquid in the presence of ethylenediamine (EDA). The material was characterized using powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), elemental analyses, and solid-state NMR spectroscopy. Incorporation of iron within the covalent framework of the material was confirmed by the presence of broad signals between 1000 and 14,000 ppm in the P NMR spectrum, corresponding to the P(O)(OAl) species.

Modern medical examinations have produced a large number of medical images. It is a great challenge to transmit and store them quickly and securely. Existing solutions mainly use medical image encryption algorithms, but these encryption algorithms, which were developed for ordinary images, are time-consuming and must cope with insufficient security considerations when encrypting medical images.

Influence of Human-Computer Interaction-Based Intelligent Dancing Robot and Psychological Construct on Choreography.

To study the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on dancing robots in choreography, this paper introduces the biped-humanoid robot-imagined choreography model alongside the Psychological Space Construction (Psychological Construct) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). The proposed model is based on deep learning and imitating human thinking and is capable of imagining new dance elements. Finally, simulation experiments are designed to verify the model's effectiveness.

This study aims to identify the major phytochemical constituents in (Thymelaeaceae) ethanolic leaf extract (ALEX-M) and elucidate their ability to suppress nitric oxide (NO) production from a murine macrophage-like cell line (RAW 264.7) stimulated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and interferon-γ (IFN-γ). Dichloromethane (DCM) and ethyl acetate (EtOAc) fractions of ALEX-M were subjected to column chromatography.
