[Features of pathological anatomy of COVID-19 according to autopsy results in the Volgograd Region].

Unlabelled: In connection with the ongoing pandemic of the novel coronavirus infection, the study of its morphopathology and the analysis of autopsy data are relevant. At the same time, attention should be paid to thromboses that play a significant role in the development of fatal outcomes in COVID-19, even taking into account the prescription of anticoagulant therapy to most patients.

Objective: To make an assessment of morphological changes and a statistical analysis of the structure of mortality in COVID-19 on the basis of autopsy results in the Volgograd Region in 2020.

[The improvement of medical personnel and post-graduate education within the framework of scientific educational medical cluster "The North-Caucasian"].

The article considers the organization of postgraduate education and clinical activities within the framework of functioning of the North-Caucasian Scientific and Educational Medical Cluster. The analysis of obtained data revealed shortcomings in training of physicians at all stages of their professional career, as well as inadequately effective mechanisms of employment of graduates from medical faculties. To eliminate these shortcomings, the measures have been developed within the framework of NOMK that include computer programs for operational monitoring of public health indices, innovative technologies of education and advanced training of of physicians, exemplified by the Tutor project.

Anti-arthritic effect of chicken embryo tissue hydrolyzate against adjuvant arthritis in rats (X-ray microtomographic and histopathological analysis).

Finding new, safe strategies to prevent and control rheumatoid arthritis is an urgent task. Bioactive peptides and peptide-rich protein hydrolyzate represent a new trend in the development of functional foods and nutraceuticals. The resulting tissue hydrolyzate of the chicken embryo (CETH) has been evaluated for acute toxicity and tested against chronic arthritis induced by Freund's full adjuvant (modified Mycobacterium butyricum) in rats.

The purpose of the research is to study therapeutic efficiency of medical rehabilitation of patients with Post-COVID-19 syndrome at outpatient treatment stage including natural therapeutic factors and phyto products in rehabilitation programme. In Nalchik resort 64 patients suffering from corona virus disease COVID-19 have been examined. They were distributed into 2 groups.

Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is an endocrine disorder of parathyroid glands characterized by excessive secretion of parathyroid hormone (PTH) with an upper normal or elevated blood calcium level. Classical PHPT refers to a symptomatic, multi-system disorder, wich can lead to a significant decrease in the quality of life, disability of patients, and even an increased risk of premature death. Hypercalcemia and the catabolic effect of PTH on various cells are considered as the main pathogenetic mechanisms of the PHPT associated complications.

The article presents the results of comparative analysis of the research potential of participants of the North Caucasian Scientific and Educational Medical Cluster. The differences in the indices of training of residents and post-graduate students, the availability of research and pedagogical personnel, the scope of research studies and income received from their commercialization in educational organizations participating in the cluster were studied. It is noted that the medical faculties of educational organizations of various departmental subordination, in terms of their research activities, differ from medical universities of the Minzdrav of Russia.

The Russian consensus on exo- and endocrine pancreatic insufficiency after surgical treatment was prepared on the initiative of the Russian Pancreatic Club using the Delphi method. Its goal was to consolidate the opinions of national experts on the most relevant issues of diagnosis and treatment of exo- and endocrine insufficiency after surgical interventions on the pancreas. The differences in average unified state examination score of students of educational institutions - participants of the cluster, teaching staff with academic degrees, educational literature and other indices are examined. It is noted that the toughening of unified state examination procedure implementation and increase of number of applicants entering through target admission, resulted in certain decrease of average score of unified state examination in entrants.

Geographical and Tick-Dependent Distribution of Flavi-Like Alongshan and Yanggou Tick Viruses in Russia.

The genus includes related, unclassified segmented flavi-like viruses, two segments of which have homology with flavivirus RNA-dependent RNA polymerase NS5 and RNA helicase-protease NS3. This group includes such viruses as Jingmen tick virus, Alongshan virus, Yanggou tick virus and others. We detected the Yanggou tick virus in and ticks in two neighbouring regions of Russia.

Effectiveness of the Sequential Use of Plastic and Titanium Implants for Experimental Replacement of the Mandibular Defect in Animals Using Preliminary Digital Design.

Using the templates preliminarily made by 3D design and prototyping methods, defects in the lateral area of the lower jaw of sheep were created using the piezosurgical technique. The defects were replaced by plastic implants obtained by the method of layer-by-layer fusion of the FDM printing-fusing deposition modeling and fixation with titanium screws to the jaw body. In the time interval, plastic implants are replaced by titanium implants obtained by selective laser sintering (SLS) using a 3D printer.

[Case of diagnostics of a rare form of glycogen disease].

Differential diagnosis of hypoglycemic syndrome remains an urgent problem in Pediatrics. In this article, a case of glycogen storage disease (BNG) type 0 is described in the boy, which is undoubtedly a rare pathology, which makes it difficult to diagnose this form of glycogenosis. In this description, the case of type 0 BNG is caused by a mutation in the GYS2 gene encoding the hepatic isoform of glycogen synthase.

[The organizational features of three-stage program of prevention of rhinosinusitis in student youth].

The problem of preserving health of students remains an important task due to peculiarities of their studies and life. The otorhinolaryngologic pathology, in particular rhinosinusitis, occupies one of leading positions in the structure of morbidity of students. The purpose of study is to assess morbidity in students and to develop three-stage prevention program with subsequent evaluation of its effectiveness.

Vitamin D Status in Russian Children and Adolescents: Contribution of Genetic and Exogenous Factors.

The problem of vitamin D deficiency is particularly relevant for the entire territory of Russia, since most parts of the country are located above the 42nd geographical latitude and the residents are therefore at risk of vitamin D deficiency. Despite the urgency of the problem, a comprehensive study of the molecular and genetic mechanisms and exogenous factors of vitamin D deficiency in children living in various geographical areas of the Russian Federation has not been conducted. Different variants in the loci of the genes responsible for the synthesis, hydroxylation, and transport of vitamin D (such as , and ), as well as gene polymorphisms may also be associated with the risk of vitamin D deficiency.

[Change of immune status parameters, clinical symptoms and health related quality of life patients with postmastectomy syndrome depending on the used rehabilitation complexes].

Unlabelled: Regardless of the chosen methods of breast cancer treatment, more than 85% of patients develop postmastectomy syndrome (PMES) after a course of therapy, which significantly worsens their quality of life and psychological state. Relatively recently, physical factors began to be used in the conservative treatment of PMES and the results of the use of various rehabilitation therapy complexes were evaluated.

Objective: To assess the effectiveness of the use of some physiotherapy methods in the rehabilitation of patients with PMES according to clinical parameters, markers of endothelial dysfunction, and the results of a questionnaire.
