The purpose of study is to investigate significance of detection of number of CD45-positive thrombocytes and ratio neutrophils/lymphocytes in evaluation of risk of development of re-stenosis after implantation of drug-eluting stents in patients with chronic ischemic heart disease and diabetes mellitus type II. The examination was applied to 126 patients with chronic forms of ischemic heart disease who passed through repeat coronary angiography during first year after implantation of drug-eluting stents. The patients were separated on two groups depending on availability of diabetes mellitus type II.

The article presents the analysis concerning main directions of physiological increasing of expenditure of energy in organism that probably can be used for prevention of obesity. First of all, it's increasing of physical load and activation of heat production at cold adaptation. In both cases the leading role belongs to skeletal muscles and consists in both implementation of biological function of locomotion and regulation of metabolism.

The aim of the present work was to assess the contributions of the reflex and local components to preventing decreases in the size and changes in the ratio of fibers containing the slow and fast isoforms of myosin heavy chains during chronic stretching of a postural muscle in rats in conditions of gravitational unloading. A unilateral surgical deafferentation method was used. The results demonstrated that deafferentation of the hindlimb had no effect on preventing reductions in muscle fiber size in conditions of chronic muscle stretching in conditions of gravitational unloading.

Monkeys subjected to space flight were found to have significant decreases in the sizes of slow and rapid fibers in the vastus lateralis muscle, due not only to weightlessness but also, to some extent, to restriction of movement activity within the capsule. The quantity of total protein in muscle fibers did not decrease. The respiratory peak in the pool of vastus lateralis muscle fibers decreased after space flight, as did the activity of oxidative enzymes (particularly in rapid fibers of the vastus lateralis muscle).

This technique has been tested in the combined experiment "ECOPSI-95". The study results reveal the differences in the visual perception of symmetric and nonsymmetric images, combined and separate elements of the image.

It is demonstrated that the applied exposures lead to the various disorders of the higher nervous activity of the test animals: after 7-day hypokinesia in the behaviour there prevail the fear and emotional-vegetative components whereas following 30-day hypokinetic exposure there occurs some stimulation of the orientation-exploratory behaviour with concurrent enhancement of the inertness of nervous processes and the tendency to formation of stringent behavioural stereotypes slowing-down the conditioned reflex formation. A modifying effect of radiation counts only after 30-day hypokinesia and consists in the development of extra-limited inhibition (reaction of acquired helplessness) in the part of animals.

Mineral content (MC) in bone tissue and mineral density of the bones (MD) were determined with the help of dichromatic x-ray bone densitometer HOLOGIC QDR--100/W.

As this takes place, the maximum number of changes was revealed with the help of the graded physical load test (GPL-test) and only in case of 9 indices the alterations were found at rest. Physical loads which have been used during HDT as the preventive measures had no effect only on insignificant part of metabolic shifts such as hypokinesia-associated increase of an activity of blood lactate dehydrogenase and relative content of phosphatidylcholine as well as an increased blood content of phosphates and decreased relative portion of phospholipids which also revealed with the aid of GPL-test.

Samples of venous plasma were collected to determine concentrations of total protein, total cholesterol (TCh), cholesterol of high density lipoproteins (HDLP), alpha 1-inhibitor of proteolysis (alpha 1-Pl), alpha 2-microglobulin (alpha 2 M), and haptoglobin (Hp). Concentrations of cholesterol of low density lipoproteins (Ch LDLP) and HDLP-LDLP ratio were calculated.

The main directions of studies in the space biotechnology are the developments of life support systems, crystallogenesis of biological macromolecules, separation of proteins and cells with the help of electrophoresis as well as the studies of cellular, subcellular and molecular processes induced by the spaceflight factors effect. The experience gained in the cultivation of unicellular organisms, the selection of perspective species and strains of microorganisms, the use of them in the ecological life-support system under development is considered in detail.

Homeostasis of the blood count cells was assessed by the parameters of intercellular metabolism. Histochemical technique was used to evaluate the activity of mitochondrial enzymes succinate dehydrogenase and alpha-glycerphosphate dehydrogenase in lymphocytes.

Training to simple motor skills was found to be less impeded by prolonged isolation as opposed to operations requiring active involvement of higher psychic functions (memory, concentration, thinking). Experiments HUBES and ECOPSY strengthened the hypothesis concerning possible advent of critical periods in prolonged isolation impacting mental performance.

The following standard procedure was used before and after the missions: during morning hours fasting test-subjects consumed a 10% solution of potassium chloride in the amount of 0.55 ml/kg or 0.
