This study reports, successful synthesis of Oxygen(O) and Nitrogen(N) co-doped Ocimum Sanctum plant-based or tulsi carbon dots-silver nanoparticle nanocomposites (TCD-AgNP) for the development of an efficient, highly active, low-cost fingerprint antibacterial agent against gram-negative organisms and a highly efficient photocatalyst for the degradation of methylene blue (MB). Green synthesized, high quantum yield (47 %), intensely blue fluorescent, highly stable N and O co-doped TCDs from carbonization technique of tulsi leaves is achieved without any chemical treatment or surface fascination which could act as an efficient green reducing agent for the development green TCD-AgNP nanocomposites. The novelty and advantage of this study is the development of highly stable, blue fluorescent, high quantum yield (40 %) environmental -friendly TCD-AgNP nanocomposite through reduction method by using green TCDs.

Aquatic ecosystems face significant exposure to endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs), which can mimic, block, or alter the synthesis of endogenous hormones. Bisphenol A (BPA), a widely known EDC, has been phased out from consumer products due to concerns about its potential impacts on human health. In its place, bisphenol S (BPS), an organic compound, has been increasingly used in the production of polycarbonate plastics, epoxy resins, thermal receipt papers, and currency.

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a highly prevalent endocrine and metabolic disorder among reproductive aged women, leading to infertility. One of the common clinical manifestations in PCOS is that there is a difference in the range of LH production in different case of PCOS and accordingly variability in LH:FSH ratio was observed.
Objective: The aim of the present study was to evaluate different ranges of LH:FSH ratios in PCOS.
