Background: HIV testing services are a key component of the 95-95-95-0 goals. In many parts of the Democratic Republic of the Congo the availability of test kits is limited for multiple reasons. Targeted testing of patients with HIV indicator conditions is therefore the only feasible option in these settings.

Research Question: Do embryos warmed using a one-step rehydration protocol with a more efficient workflow result in comparable pregnancy rates to the standard multi-step rehydration protocol?
Design: A retrospective cohort study of 3439 frozen embryo transfers (FET). Clinical outcomes of 833 FETs using a one-step rehydration protocol were reviewed and compared with results from the control group (2606 FETs using standard multi-step rehydration protocol). Primary outcome was ongoing pregnancy rate.

Neonatal pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a devastating disorder of the pulmonary vasculature characterized by elevated pulmonary vascular resistance and mean pulmonary arterial pressure. Occurring predominantly because of maldevelopment or maladaptation of the pulmonary vasculature, PH in neonates is associated with suboptimal short-term and long-term outcomes because its pathobiology is unclear in most circumstances, and it responds poorly to conventional pulmonary vasodilators. Understanding the pathogenesis and pathophysiology of neonatal PH can lead to novel strategies and precise therapies.

Since 2017, the specialty of radiation oncology has experienced its fifth consecutive year of decline in residency applicants, resulting in a high number of unmatched positions. The cause of this precipitous decline is multifactorial. Factors cited include concerns about future job opportunities, the decreased pass rate in the ABR radiation biology and physics boards examinations in 2018, and the continued lack of formal exposure to radiation oncology during medical school training.

Objective: To compare the comparative effects of treatment with contemporary mechanical thrombectomy (MT) or anticoagulation (AC) on Villalta scores and post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS) incidence through 12 months in iliofemoral deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
Methods: Patients with DVT in the Acute Venous Thrombosis: Thrombus Removal with Adjunctive Catheter-Directed Thrombolysis (ATTRACT) randomized trial and the ClotTriever Outcomes (CLOUT) registry were included in this analysis. Both studies evaluated the effects of thrombus removal on the incidence of PTS.

Introduction: Pregnancy is a known independent risk factor for a severe course of COVID-19. The relationship of SARS-CoV-2 infection and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) on neonatal outcomes is unclear. Our aim was to determine if SARS-CoV-2 infection represents an independent risk factor for adverse perinatal outcomes in pregnancy with GDM.

Background: Intrathecal administration of amphotericin B represents an important adjunctive therapy for management of severe fungal meningitis. Intrathecal preparations have traditionally used amphotericin B deoxycholate. Liposomal amphotericin B is an alternative formulation with good clinical outcomes as systemic therapy, but scant data exist investigating intrathecal use.

Background: Sex-related differences in clinical manifestations and disease outcomes exist in psoriatic arthritis, however, there is limited information on sex-related differences in randomised controlled trials of psoriatic arthritis. We aimed to compare patient characteristics and efficacy and safety of advanced therapies (including biological and targeted synthetic therapies) between male and female patients with psoriatic arthritis participating in randomised controlled trials.
Methods: In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we searched Medline, Embase, and Central databases, and conference abstract archives, from their inception to June 10, 2022, for randomised controlled trials that assessed the efficacy of advanced therapies in psoriatic arthritis.

The American Society for Radiation Oncology has proposed the Radiation Oncology Case Rate Program (ROCR) to advocate for fair reimbursement for radiation oncologists. ROCR would replace Medicare fee-for-service with a case rate payment for each of the 15 most common cancer types treated with external beam or stereotactic radiation therapy. This topic discussion attempts to provide a concise overview of the practical implications for radiation oncologists should the ROCR payment program be legislated by Congress and subsequently implemented by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
