Introduction: After total knee arthroplasty (TKA), dissatisfaction rates are described up to 30 %. Optimal alignment of the prosthesis in TKA is believed to improve clinical outcome and survival rates. Radiological outliers after TKA are used to define this alignment.

Theranostic drugs represent an emerging path to deliver on the promise of precision medicine. However, bottlenecks remain in characterizing theranostic targets, identifying theranostic lead compounds, and tailoring theranostic drugs. Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection for Early Gastric Cancer Exceeding Expanded Criteria-Long-Term Outcomes from the German ESD Registry.

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) has become a standard treatment for early gastric cancer (EGC), often fulfilling guideline criteria (GC) or expanded criteria (EC). When lesions exceed the EC, surgical resection is recommended. However, a subgroup of these patients are not treated surgically.

Resilience in Adult Coeliac Patients on a Gluten-Free Diet: A Cross-Sectional Multicentre Italian Study.

Background: Data on resilience, the ability to recover from adversity, in coeliac disease (CeD) are lacking.

Aim: To assess the degree of resilience in patients with CeD on a gluten-free diet (GFD), and its association with clinical features, sociodemographic factors, psychological morbidity, and quality of life (QOL).

Methods: A cross-sectional multicentre Italian study was conducted on adult CeD patients between May 2022 and April 2023.

New ipsilateral full endoscopic interlaminar approach for L5-S1 foraminal and extraforaminal decompression: technique description and initial case series.

Background: The L5-S1 interlaminar access described in 2006 by Ruetten et al. represented a paradigm shift and a new perspective on endoscopic spinal approaches. Since then, the spinal community has shown that both the traditional ipsilateral and novel contralateral interlaminar approaches to the L5-S1 foramen are good alternatives to transforaminal access.

External validation of the preHEART score and comparison with current clinical risk scores for prehospital risk assessment in patients with suspected NSTE-ACS.

Background: Emergency Medical Services (EMS) studies have shown that prehospital risk stratification and triage decisions in patients with suspected non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS) can be improved using clinical risk scores with point-of-care (POC) troponin. In current EMS studies, three different clinical risk scores are used in patients suspected of NSTE-ACS: the prehospital History, ECG, Age, Risk and Troponin (preHEART) score, History, ECG, Age, Risk and Troponin (HEART) score and Troponin-only Manchester Acute Coronary Syndromes (T-MACS). The preHEART score lacks external validation and there exists no prospective comparative analysis of the different risk scores within the prehospital setting.

Two-year follow-up of the SMR stemless platform shoulder system: a multicenter, prospective clinical study.

Background: The use of stemless shoulder arthroplasty for osteoarthritis has grown substantially over the past decades. The goal of this study is to evaluate the clinical and radiological outcomes of the Lima SMR stemless anatomic and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty.

Introduction: Design fluency (DF) tasks are commonly used to assess executive functions such as attentional control, cognitive flexibility, self-monitoring and strategy use. Next to the total number of correct designs, the standard outcome of a DF task, clustering and switching can help disentangle the processes underlying DF performance. We present the first longitudinal study of 4-8-year-old children's developmental DF trajectories.
