A 3-year-old male with X-linked lymphoproliferative syndrome type 1 underwent an unrelated umbilical cord blood transplant (UUCBT). The week prior to transplant the patient tested positive for adenovirus (HAdV) with a viral load of <190 copies/mL and was started on cidofovir. Black blood MRI sequences in the acute management of ruptured and unruptured intracranial aneurysms.

We present an illustrative case series in which high spatial resolution black blood (BB) MRI sequences were used as an adjunct in the acute management of intracranial aneurysms with diagnostic uncertainty regarding rupture status. Several acute management dilemmas are discussed including the surveillance of previously treated ruptured intracranial aneurysms, identifying culprit lesion(s) amongst multiple ruptured intracranial aneurysms, and risk stratifying incidental unruptured intracranial aneurysms. We present our experience which supports the evaluation of this vessel wall imaging technique in larger multi-centre observational studies.

Feasibility and Acceptability of a Text Message Intervention to Promote Adherence to Nutrition and Physical Activity Guidelines in a Predominantly Hispanic Sample of Cancer Survivors and Their Informal Caregivers: Results from a Pilot Intervention Trial.

Hispanic cancer survivors face unique barriers to meeting American Cancer Society (ACS) nutrition and physical activity guidelines, which reduce the risk of cancer recurrence and mortality and improve quality of life. This pilot intervention trial evaluated the feasibility and acceptability of a two-week ACS guideline-based nutrition and physical activity text message intervention in a predominantly Hispanic sample of cancer survivors and their informal caregivers. A mixed methods approach was used to assess feasibility and acceptability of the intervention.

Background: Support from fathers to their partners is important to reduce distress in mothers during the perinatal period when conditions such as depression and anxiety can be common. The SMS4dads digital platform delivers text messages to fathers but has not previously addressed specific messages to fathers with partners who are experiencing perinatal depression and/or anxiety (PNDA).

Aim: To develop messages, in collaboration with experienced parents and clinicians, that are suitable for fathers whose partner is experiencing PNDA.
