The retinoic acid derivatives are used for disorders of keratinization such as psoriasis. Retinoic acid syndrome is a cytokine release syndrome, commonly encountered in patients with acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL). It is very rarely described in psoriasis seconday to use of retoind derivatives.
