Background: Prostate Cancer (PCa) increases the mortality rate of males worldwide and is caused by genetics, lifestyle, and age reasons. The existing automated PCa classification systems face difficulties with overfitting issues, and non-generalizability, leading to poor classification performance.

Objective: On this account, this study proposes an automated classification of PCa from MRI images using a hybrid weighted mean of vectors-optimized DarkNet53 classifier model.

In this study, the effect of employing ZnO/Acalypha Indica leaf extract (ZAE) on the energy absorption of a coated portable solar cooker has been examined using an experimental setup. A prototypical model has been developed to corroborate in associating an investigative outcome per constituents of the experiments. The studied heat transfer process in ZAE is stable for harsh conditions.

Biosorption is a versatile technique of removing the oil spill - one of the major toxicants that causes water pollution, which threatens the ecological balance of the aquatic ecosystem. The proposed research aims in developing a viable adsorbent from discarded agricultural waste, Phoenix sylvestris, which was surface altered, assessed and utilised as a biosorbent for the effective removal of diesel from aqueous solution in batch adsorption trials. Waste palm leaves, Phoenix sylvestris (RPS)was physically (PMPS) and chemically modified (CMPS) to adsorb diesel in the emulsion.

The unavailability of sunlight during nighttime and cloudy weather condition has limited the usage of solar cookers throughout the day. This study will attempt to engineer a solar cooker with PV (photovoltaic panel), evacuated tubes with CPC reflectors, battery, and charge controller using the microcontroller PIC 16F877A. A mathematical model is developed to predict the electrical power (E) required during cloudy weather condition and nighttime as well as the temperatures occurring at different parts of the cooker.

Cellulose/TiO nanocomposite was synthesized using coagulation in sodium hydroxide-thiourea-urea aqueous solution medium by precipitation method. This method was accomplished green and cost-effective for the fabrication of composite nanomaterials. Structure, morphology and optical properties of the nanocomposite were characterized by X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and ultraviolet diffuse reflectance spectra respectively.

Use of scalp EEG for the diagnosis of various cerebral disorders is progressively increasing. Though the advanced neuroimaging techniques such as MRI and CT-SCAN still stay as principal confirmative methods for detecting and localizing brain tumors, the development of automated systems for the detection of brain tumors using the scalp EEG has started attracting the researchers all over the world notably since 2000. This is because of two important facts: (i) cheapness and easiness of methods of recording and analyzing the scalp EEG and (ii) lower risk and possible early detection.
