An efficient probe (E)-2-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)-3-(9-ethyl-9 H-carbazol-3-yl)acrylonitrile (CZ-BTZ) for selective fluorescence "turn-on" response with cyanide (CN) ion sensor was developed by simple Knoevenagel condensation of 9-ethyl-9 H carbazole-3-carbaldehyde with 2-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl) acetonitrile. The sensing ability of probe CZ-BTZ was tested with different inorganic anions through spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric methods. The UV-vis and fluorescence spectral studies show the formation of a new adduct between CZ-BTZ and CN by appearing with a new absorbance band at 350 nm and "turn-on" fluorescence at 535 nm in CHCN: HO (8:2, v/v, pH 7.

A new 7-(diethylamino)-2-oxo-2 H-chromene-3-carbohydrazide design to synthesize a simple Schiff-base condition. The synthesized molecules' (probe L) photophysical properties were investigated in various solvent systems and solvent-poor-solvent assays. Biogenically derived silica nanoparticles may serve as a well-defined target vehicle for drug delivery and have a wide range of applications in biomedicine. Silica nanoparticles are an excellent candidate as drug carriers due to their mesoporous structure, high drug loading capacity, low toxicity, environmental friendliness and low economic synthesis procedures. In this study, nano structured silica was extracted from sugarcane bagasse through an alkali leaching extraction and conjugated with extract overcoming its poor solubility and improving its bioavailability within the host system.

The optoelectronic and charge transport properties of eight linearly fused Napthadithiophene (NDT) molecules with different electron-withdrawing (EWG) and electron-donating (EDG) substituents are studied using the density functional theory (DFT) methods. The effect of the substitution of EWG and EDG on the molecular structure, frontier molecular orbitals, ionization energy, electron affinity, reorganization energy, crystal packing, and charge carrier mobility are studied. The crystal structure simulation method is used to optimize the possible crystal packing arrangements for the studied molecules.

The advent of acute respiratory coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is convoyed by the shedding of the virus in stool. Although inhalation from person-to-person and aerosol/droplet transmission are the main modes of SARS-Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) transmission, currently available evidence indicates the presence of viral RNA in the sewerage wastewater, which highlights the need for more effective corona virus treatment options. In the existing COVID-19 pandemic, a substantial percentage of cases shed SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA in their faeces.

In the present study, a composite filament of poly lactic acid (PLA) and 45S5 bioglass (BG) were used to 3D print scaffolds intended for bone tissue regeneration.
