Objectives: To develop and validate an English and Kannada version of the questionnaire to assess awareness and knowledge of advance care planning (ACP) among end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
Methods: The questionnaire was developed from the published literature on ACP use in ESKD setting after a literature search. An expert panel consisting of nephrologists, palliative medicine physicians, ESKD patients, and their family caregivers participated in the content validity of the questionnaire using the Delphi process.

Materials And Methods: Twenty-four histologically proven patients of inoperable esophagus carcinoma were studied. All patients received induction chemotherapy followed by concurrent chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Of 3620 patients, 29 of them developed solitary or multiple bone metastases during the progression of the disease.

Aim: To investigate the ease of tandem application and external os identification by giving sublingual misoprostol before initiation of intracavitary brachytherapy in cancer cervix patients.
Materials And Methods: 36 patients with cervical cancer stage IIIB which were supposed to undergo intracavitary brachytherapy(ICBT) were randomly divided into 2 subgroups, group A patients receiving misoprostol and group B not receiving misoprostol.Misoprostol 400 mcg was given sublingually 3 hrs prior to the procedure.

Purpose: To explore straight incision technique in terms of efficacy for intraocular pressure (IOP) lowering by small-incision cataract surgery (SICS) trab versus modified "frown" incision with triangular scleral flap technique.
Methods: This study was done at a tertiary health center. It included 44 eyes diagnosed with cataract and coexisting primary glaucoma that underwent SICS with trabeculectomy using modified "frown" incision with triangular scleral flap technique and straight incision in group A (n = 22) and B (n = 22), respectively.

As there is a rise in the long-term survival of patients, multiple primary cancer is now not a rare entity. To see four different tumors in the same patient is very rare, and here, we report the case of a 60-year-old female patient with quadruple primary cancer of bilateral breast, esophagus, and sarcoma of the leg.

Outcomes of endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG) of 12 months have been published by our team and there is a need for longer follow-up period understanding the effects of ESG techniques.
Aim: This report emphasises on weight loss pattern in follow-up time points and monitors the post-procedure improvement in comorbidities with minimum 4-year follow-up of patients undergoing ESG at a single academic centre in India.

Purpose: Bariatric surgery has been proven to be a successful management strategy for morbid obesity, but limited studies exist on its effect on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in terms of clinical, hormonal, and comorbidities.
Materials And Methods: This is a prospective observational study of 1013 PCOS patients who underwent bariatric surgery from a single high-volume center. Assessment of demographic data and menstrual irregularity as well as hirsutism and comorbidities was done preoperatively 6-month and yearly follow-up, whereas data regarding %TWL and %EWL was taken at follow-up visits conducted at regular intervals of 6 months, and 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 years following surgery.

Materials And Methods: In this experimental study, 300 rectangular blocks of three different restorative materials were fabricated using an aluminum mold, Group I ( = 100) Micron bioactive, Group II ( = 100) GC Fuji IX GP Extra, and Group III ( = 100) bioglass R. These blocks were stored in 100% humidity for 24 h and then placed in air to desiccate for another 24 h.

Methods: A single-blind randomized sham-controlled study involving sixty inpatients of alcohol dependence syndrome in a tertiary care center. Following detoxification and consent, the patients were allocated into either active or sham groups for rTMS protocol.
